THE uncle of tormented BRITNEY SPEARS today reveals the shocking truth about the star’s drink and drug-addled childhood for the first time.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, William Spears, 49, lays bare the troubled early life of the former Pop Princess.
He says Brit, 26, started DRINKING when she was a 13-year-old Mickey Mouse Club presenter and dabbled with DRUGS from the age of 14.
She is also terrified she will mimic her tragic grandmother Emma Jean, who committed suicide aged 31.

Dear Britney, Maybe I have too much time on my hands. I don't know. Probably, but I need to reach out to you and do feel that you do not have enough mentors in your life. Sources tell TMZ K-Daddy's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, went after Sam Lutfi, Brit's close friend, like white on rice during his deposition today.

We're told the depo, which ended just before 6:00 PM, covered a wide range of issues. Sources say Kaplan asked about the meds Brit takes, where she goes, what she does at home, what she drinks, and on and on.

Kaplan also asked Lutfi about his relationship with the photo agency X17 and specifically whether he and Brit have a financial deal where they help X17 get pics of Brit and in return get moolah. X17 has denied there's any deal.

We're told Kaplan asked Lutfi about his income and where he gets it, how he supports himself, etc. We're also told Kaplan asked him about six lawsuits in which he was reportedly sued. We're told Lutfi answered that most of those suits were against his father.

I really do beleive what her uncle says and what the paps from the mag that went into her house say. You can just see it in her behavior that she has been exposed to alcohol, abuse, drugs and only God knows what else. Now Britney is a walking time bomb. She's lost her mind and no one does anything about it. I see homeless people on the street like Britney. The only difference in Britney has money so she has her hotels to go to, her mansion etc.. To drive around to the same places, to go for gas every day, to wear the pink wig, and dye her hair and take on different personalities, it's clear that she's lost it. This is just horrible to watch. I wish you guys at X17 wouldn't show us this. Her fans don't seem to care. They refuse to see she has problems and enable her to get worse. All those guys around her are users and there's nothing anyone can do to help her to help herself. The drugs, alcohol, abuse, all took YEARS to make her the way she is so the kind of rehab and mental help she needs will take years to un-do what's been done. Her family knows what has been done and she most likely blames them and doesn't want them near her ever again. Her fans need to stop presuring her into a "come back." It's over. Let her be. She needs HELP. Then she needs to get away from all this and try to live a normal life. Everyone is just using her mental state and she's so gone she can't see it.

The American Psychiatric Association came out & blasted armchair doctors & psychologists for making Any diagnosis of Britney without having done a thorough evaluation first. This was on either CNN or MSNBC's site.

They said the diagnosis of any mental disorder is too complicated & cannot be done merely by viewing photos which may or may not give the full picture.

I feel that unless Britney really wants to be involved in the process, it won't work anyway. She won't be completely truthful & won't be receptive to treatment - if any is needed at all.
