So the court hired a professional to watch, evaulate and teach her what she needs to know. When the court is satisfied, the custody arrangement will change. I lost my mom some years ago and would love to be able to pick up the phone and call her when I have questions about parenting. Since I can't, I turn to books, websites and other parents for their input/advice. In essence, that is what is happening with Britney. The court is trying to help her. She will come out of this a better parent and the kids will be safe and happy and isn't that what we all ultimately want for our children?

Sorry for your loss, I know all to well how hard that can be. We all look for advice on parenting. Judging by the many child/parent magazine sales, websites and classes available. BTW, In NC they make you watch a parenting video before you take your baby home from the hospital.When my child was young, I signed him up for a free preschool, A part of no child left behind program. The only requirment was all the parents had to go to parenting class. The benefit was a great pre school, bus service, socializing, lunch and learning. Many parents complained about the 6 week / two night per week course. I loved it. I learned so much, put what I learned into action and became a better parent for it.

This has nothing to do with money, because money, fame and celebrity parties, mean nothing if your children are not safe and happy. These are important years in the boys lives, for bonding, learning and growing .
