She had agreed, along with the hospital/doctor and her parents, that upon release she would go to a private facility to continue treatment. Father sent a security guard with her upon leaving the hospital.

Somehow Britney intimidated or harassed the security guard, put him out on the street, got photographer Felipe to jump in the car in his place, and went to the hotel instead of wherever else she was supposed to go.

I guess her father and the rest of them trusted her to do what she agreed to do. She was probably acting more calmly at the time. However, you can see that she had other plans.

it is anon 11:28 who is twisting the facts. Jaime Spears has the power to sell everything that Britney owns. Conservatorships are abused every day. An attorney sold every piece of property that his alzheimer clients owned. He claimed he got the best price that he could and that they couldn't maintain their property. The courts could do nothing even though his clients were left destitute. He couldn't get anymore clients because of the publicity so he moved to Ohio where he is propbably doing the same thing.
If drug use is the criteria for taking people's kids then there are a lot of people who are going to have their kids taken away. The criteria is neglect and safety. But Britney had full time nannies and bodyguards.
The best solution now is an independant conservator audited by the court.
Britney most likely will jump through their hoops until the conservatorship is lifted and then get married to someone so her family cannot interfere.

I think her parents have tried to protect her privacy and not medle too much in her life already by not telling anyone she has a mental illness , however Britney drives around doing what she does and practically advertises the fact, what else are her parents to do? i think at this point getting her problems out there (and probably getting another psychiatrist) is the only way now to get others to co-operate and save her life, that means the paps too, they should find someone else's life to make a public spectacle of, not someone who clearly doesn't know what she's doing or what's best for her, she needs to be somewhere safe, don't know if she'll ever change till the paps stop giving her the attention she gets from them.

Now that the hospital has said she's not a danger to herself I don't think her parents will be able to hold on to that conservatorship. And although I certainly understand their concern I question them barging into the hotel. Are they trying to prevent her getting some now?? That doesn't seem right.
