Heidi's probably okay, but she doesn't take the place of Britney's family. Heidi is rather naive to think that all Britney needs is a friendly place to stay. She apparently needs constant supervision, medical care, and someone to analyze her finances and get things under control for her, which the father and the courts are doing.

If Heidi wants to be her friend, that is nice, and they can be friends now and in the future. Heidi herself, though, got pregnant with her first child by her then boyfriend who immediately married another woman. Then she met Seal while pregnant and married him.
