If You Censor Britney...
Looks like that catchy new track from Britney Spears' latest album "Circus" may never hit the airwaves!
The Sun reports that radio stations are threatening to ban Brit's third single, "If You Seek Amy," due to the song's explicit lyrics. (If you still don't understand why it's considered raunchy, recite "If you seek Amy," out loud about a dozen times, preferably out of earshot of your boss.)
So what's a pop princess to do? Re-record the song of course! Brit is reportedly dropping the "K" and changing the title and lyrics to "If You See Amy." The song makes absolutely no sense now, but it's better than hearing Brit sing, "All of the girls and all of the boys are begging to [insert 5 second bleep here]."
Hey, we'll still be blasting the original version!
Are these lyrics too naughty? Or should the FCC lighten up a bit?
