X17online spoke with a source on the set of Britney Spears' latest music video shoot, and we have some juicy details for you!

The video was shot at a $4 million traditional home near the Palisades bluffs, and the conservative neighborhood seemed a bit surprised to have the pop princess shoot what is expected to be her most raunchy video to date in their community! However, it seems like everyone involved had a blast, and we can expect a super sexy video very soon!

Our on set source tells us:

"Britney looked like she was having a blast. Earlier in the day between takes, she was playing this mind reading game with her two boys and they LOVED it. After they left, she was a lot quieter. Around the end of the shoot, she seemd to be getting a little anxious for some reason. She probably was ready to go home."

The front door of the house had a red heart reading 'I Love You' in large letters, and our source tells us that for this part of the video (which was the first day of a 2-3 day shoot) Brit plays the role of a "suburban housewife"! We're picturing Britney with an apron and a pie in her hands, but our source assures us that we can look forward to "a much sexier, risque Britney" in the final video.

Filming has wrapped at that location, and there was only one truck cleaning up the remaining props earlier this morning, so we can't wait to hear about the rest of the shoot! We love sexy Brit Brit videos!

If you seek Britney, you'll be happy to know that she was shooting her latest music video at a private residence in Pacific Palisades last night!

The pop princess left the set around midnight in her brand new Mini Cooper (with her bodyguard in the passenger seat, of course), and she looked tired but happy.

We're hearing that she was shooting the video for "If You Seek Amy," and while there were rumors that Madonna would join her for the shoot, we didn't see the queen of pop anywhere near the Palisades last night. That doesn't rule Madonna out though - they could easily film another clip somewhere else and throw it into the video - hopefully that's the plan!

She's back on the road y'all!

She may be under conservatorship, but it looks like she's finally starting to get a bit more freedom! The other night we spotted Britney Spears and her assistant (who was rumored to be replaced by Felicia, but it looks like Brit's keeping her too!) going for a spin in Brit's new Mini Cooper!

We know Brit's thrilled to be back in the driver's seat, but how soon do you think she'll be allowed to hit the road all by herself?

We're getting word that Britney's shooting her next music video right NOW!

In Touch Weekly is reporting that Queen B is filming in Pacific Palisades (between Santa Monica and Malibu) at this very moment and that the shoot started early this morning and will last even further into the night!

An ITW source says:

"The dancers are all dressed in metallic colors, and shiny tights. They look awesome, with sequins all over their outfits ... When she [Britney] works, she is into it and gets it done. She looks great and is so fun to work with. She is funny and professional and has tons of energy today."

Earlier reports said she's shooting the clip for If You Seek Amy today and that it would feature Madonna!!!!! God, please make it be true!!!!!!

It was back to the courts for Britney & Co. (really just the & Co.) to ask the court permission for Brit to hire a lawyer to represent her in the breach of contract suit filed against her by former manager Sam Lutfi.

According to Radaronline.com, Jamie petitioned the judge to give him permission to hire the firm of Boxer and Marella on his daughter's behalf, since Britney is not allowed to hire a lawyer on her own.

Permission was granted, but will having her own attorney in this matter in anyway give her some freedom from her father?

We told you yesterday that Britney Spears' former assistant, Felicia Culotta is returning to work for the pop princess, and now she's released a statement on Brit's official site, letting everyone know how happy she is to be back!

Felicia says:

"Britney has always held a special place in my heart, and over the course of the last year I have seen her work harder than she ever has in her entire life. Sadly, I am really going to miss the Jonas boys, but I felt I had to be a part of this exciting time in Britney's career. I love Britney and missed her dearly."

Sounds like a good career move to us!

We never thought these two would get tired of working together!

Britney Spears and her longtime manager and friend, Larry Rudolph, are rumored to be heading for Splitsville. A week and a half ago, Breathe Heavy reported that the Circus performer was "fed up" with Larry... in fact, the manager has allegedly stepped aside so Adam Leber (his associate) could take his place.

But X17 just spotted Larry leaving our girl Brit's house this afternoon. What's up with that!

Are these rumors much ado about nothing or are the two seriously wrapping up their on-and-off relationship with one last meeting?

Breathe Heavy reports that Britney Spears is going to let go of her current assistant, Brett Miller, and replace her with none other than Felicia Culotta, her assistant from waaaay back in the day!

A source tells BH, "Brett is on her way out. Britney always felt Brett was shady and wanted someone who had her best interests at heart." Felicia was with Britney from the very beginning - heck, she even played Brit's teacher in the Baby One More Time video!

Felicia is definitely a quality person who genuinely cares about the pop princess, so we're glad she's back on board - good move, Brit!

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have finally ironed out the details of how Sean Preston and Jayden James will spend their time while their mom embarks on her world tour.

TMZ reports that Jamie Spears and K-Fed have both signed a document that okays Britney taking the boys on tour with her this spring. While Britney is on the road, the boys will follow her to three home bases (AKA rented homes in New Jersey and New Orleans, along with her pad in Los Angeles), and Brit will commute back and forth to each spot in between gigs. Additionally, K-Fed will be getting $5,000 per week, and while it's assumed that he'll be with the boys most of the time, he'll get paid even if he doesn't show up.

The document that Jamie and K-Fed signed is also a big step forward - Britney will now get the boys three days and nights a week until she wraps up her Circus tour. Even though Brit and her former hubby don't technically have joint custody, this new deal is essentially the same thing...for now anyway.

We bet she's happy about this development!

Jamie Spears is striking back after Brit's former manager Sam filed suit against Daddy Spears in court, alleging (among other things) that Jamie assaulted him, according to The Sun.

A source close to Spears tells the Sun that Jamie is furious over Sam's alleged "drugging" of Britney and blames him for alienating Brit from her family during her troubled times. “Jamie also believes Sam tried to take control of her life and finances. He is determined to pursue a criminal prosecution."

But this could be quite a long and arduous process. A pal of Sam tells the paper, “Sam isn’t going down without a fight.”

Britney Spears has reportedly been suffering from panic attacks that have led to "tantrums and locking herself in the bathroom," according to The Sun newspaper.

The paper quotes an unnamed source as saying: "She has been telling her doctor she feels under pressure and ill when she thinks about touring."

Brit's dad Jamie has reportedly consulted doctors about her condition.

“Every time there is a crisis, Britney screams and cries and locks herself in her room," another source told the newspaper.

Certainly there is a TON of pressure on Britney, and all of the legal drama with former manager Sam Lutfi really can't be helping.

In case you haven't heard, Sam Lutfi has filed a lawsuit against Britney's parents Jamie and Lynne Spears for defamation, assault and breach of contract... yeah, it's been quite a day!

In a lawsuit filed today, Brit's former manager Sam Lutfi claims that on the night of January 29, 2008 he was punched by Jamie Spears.

According to the court documents, Sam was standing in the kitchen of Brit's home in the Summit when Jamie "burst into the house."

Jamie then "charged at Lutfi," punched him in the chest and "threatened to kill" Lutfi if he ever made a rude comment about Lynne or any of the Spears clan.

As a result, Lutfi claims he's suffered and continues to suffer "mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering."

X17 photographers who were on the scene the night of the alleged attack recall hearing arguing between Jamie and Sam....so did that argument escalate into something more violent?

There is a very strategic reason for Sam to file suit against not only Britney's parents for breach of contract, but also against Britney herself.

It's complicated, but here's why:

According to the court docs X17online obtained, around October 2007, Britney entered into an oral agreement with Sam to become her manager, which was later confirmed by Brit in a text that read "sam, so thats fine, i want you to be my manager. you were right its 15 percent of my money but for 4 years not 5."

Sam claims he carried out his duties as manager from October 2007 until February of 2008, when Jamie was appointed conservator. Around that same time, Jamie re-hired Larry Rudolph to take over managerial duties, and effectively shut Sam out.

Also, as alleged in the court docs, "Lutfi has made numerous demands on Jamie, as conservator for Britney, for payment of management fees due for the period from approximately mid-October 2007 to early-February 2008, as well as other amounts that would have been due under the Agreement but for its premature termination." Sam has apparently never received that payment.

So, in addition to suing Jamie as conservator, Sam must sue Britney herself, since his agreement was made directly with Britney, and not Jamie.

BUT

Since he named not only Britney in the suit, but Jamie as well, she cannot be represented in the suit by Jamie as her conservator (and subsequently his lawyers) -- because it will be a conflict of interest!

This could be a brilliant strategy by Sam to find a way to get Britney to speak for herself or even retain her own counsel, as he's been trying to encourage her to do all along...

Britney Spears' parents, Jamie and Lynne, are being sued by their daughter's former friend slash manager Sam Lutfi today...

Now Sam's lawyer Bryan Freedman has released a statement regarding the suit:

This lawsuit is being brought as a result of the defamation, ridicule and harassment of Sam Lutfi by Jamie Spears and Lynne Spears. A thorough investigation has revealed overwhelming evidence from independent witnesses, showing that Lynne Spears knowingly and maliciously publicized devastating false information about Lutfi which destroyed his reputation, irreparably harmed his career, and subjected him to constant scorn and humiliation.

At the time of the trial in this action, the jury will have an opportunity to weigh the credibility of the witnesses. In doing so, it will be faced with two threshold questions: Why would a supposedly loving mother write a tell all book about the sordid details of two of the most devastating nights of her daughter's life and go on countless talk shows for her own profit? And why would a loving father who deems his daughter to be incompetent, thrust her into a massive world tour only to subject her to the very limelight that threatened to shatter her life, for something other than his own personal gain?

The facts of this case will reveal Jamie and Lynne’s conduct in light of these questions. It will unequivocally explain the motivation of two people who are seemingly willing to destroy anyone and anything that gets in the way of their ability to control and profit from their daughter. Through this action, the truth about Jamie, Lynne and their relentless desire to control Britney Spears and her fortune will be revealed.
