This is probably one of the most irresponsbile postings on a blog, and by a blog, I have ever seen. Just b/c the father gets sole custody doesn't mean a mother "has given up.". It's stupid and careless to think that. She obviously has some healing to do - and I think her getting the children three days a week w/one overnight, and then it to increase from there over the next 6 months is hardly giving up. If anything, it will result in a 50/50 split. So how exactly does X17 come to the conclusion after all of this that someone doesn't want their kids and is given up? If they had gone to trial, it would have been heartbreaking, for ALL parties. First of all let me point out that I'm not a Britney fan, nor have I ever been one. I think anyone who is a parent can understand that the decisions we make aren't always easy or "acceptable" to those around us. However, none of us have the right to judge as we know nothing about these people except what is fed to us by people "behind a curtain" who have absolutely nothing to lose by lying. They do have a lot to gain however (financially). I am a mother of two young boys myself and would go to the ends of the earth for them. My own mother, who raised me by herself, suffered, still suffers from mental illness, and many times it would have been better for my siblings and myself to be raised by someone with the capabilities of dealing with problems beyond herself. Britney obviously cannot cope with her own problems. A lot of celebrities have relinquished custody of their children to nannies yet not officially on paper. If what Britney is doing is in the best interest of her children then it takes surmountable courage, and it is time for people to stop judging others and take time to examine their own lives.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have settled their child custody case ... finally. Sources say K-Fed plans to show in court today but Brit will not.

Sources tell us the two have agreed to a custody arrangement that will give Brit more custody with their two kids by year's end. Currently, she sees Sean Preston and Jayden James three days a week with one overnight.
