Actuall, California Code of Civil Procedure, section 415.20 permits substitute service. In other words, Lufti did not have to be personally served.
Also, the court deemed that Lufti had been served with the restraining order. So, he has been served.

Yes I too would like to know on what grounds have they found Ms Spears to be suffering from any type of mental illness? People can be addicted to drugs and do the most outragous things and that does not make them mentally ill. It just seems very fish to me. Things do not add up. They say she is gravelly ill. I believe Jamie Spears’ attorney could make a fairly strong case to extend the conservatorship beyond March 10th and she would not be able to testify on March 17th.

Two widely known events come to mind. First, as the conservator, Jamie has control over who visits with his daughter. Brit has defied the conservator and secretly met with Alli in a dressing room. As we all know Alli and Sam (who is under a restraining order) have been seen together. Secondly, while under conservatorship Brit has continued to flash her who-ha in public.

In addition, credible news sources have described her behavior while dining with her father in local restaurants as highly agitated. She continues to head to the bathroom every 15-20 minutes. She also did not recognize one of the restaurants where she filmed a recent video.

One aside, I read a report that after her doctor’s appointment she was distressed and cancelled her dance class. There has not been a reliable report on what type of doctor examined her.

Absolutely, if she fails to utilize the help given to her, and does not make a positive, productive change then she does deserve what happens to her. The judge, Kevin, etc. have given her another chance, and if she screws this one up all for the likes of Sam Lutfi...

She hasn't been released from the label "gravely disabled" because she has not completed the court ordered evaluation and had a follow-up hearing. That is what March 10th is all about. Hopefully those people who came to her house the other day were there for just that purpose. Unfortunately that is one of the pitfalls of court. It takes time to comply with all the orders, get people and schedules lined up and to get hearings, although Brit seems to get in far more quickly than most. She may not have been gravely disabled over the last two or three weeks, but unfortunately until she is declared so by the court, she will still be considered as such.

Kaplan did not file any objections to the Sand deposition based on attorney client privilege. He did, however, file a motion to disclose any and all subjects that Sands might testify about.

Personally, I think she is a full blown schizophrenic. It is much harder to deal with than Bipolar. She is still talking in the British accent. She is probably hearing things and/or having hallucinations. Everytime she goes into psychoses, she will get worse. Shaving her head and her obsession with the occult while in rehab, further points to this. Her case seems to be severe and could be made worse by self medicating herself with alcohol and/or drugs in the past. She's definitely paranoid. If she were just Bipolar she would show some signs of improvement by now. I haven't really seen any. It's just that she is being more controlled, but it doesn't mean she is better by any means. Changing medications was another sign. It means whatever she was taking, was not working. She has a long way to go, if she ever recovers.

About 20 years ago I was diagnosed with manic depression disorder ( bipolar type 2-the lesser kind) and am very well educated about this disorder and have talked and had therapy with many other sufferers throughout the years. I'm doing well now, but it has been a near death struggle at times. But as far as Brit goes, I do strongly suspect that she does indeed suffer from this too, but I also believe that she is a narcissistic drug addict and also has other mental issues as well. The term 'gravely disabled' is not lightly handed out and other terms are used if it is something like simple drug addiction. I am no doctor and do not profess to know for sure, but my instincts on this tell me she is and I am rarely wrong when I make such guesses. It is usually easy for me to see it in others and many performers, particularly comedians, suffer from this. The rapid mood swings, the irrational actions, all the usual suspects are there. Most of what we see are probably her manic swings, since the depressive moments are often hidden away. She does spend more than enough time out of the spotlight to hide the low moments. And even when you are low, you can often force out your manic side to go out and do whatever is needed for a good manic bout. I'm going to chop this here! So cont.

cont. Also, her g-mother killed herself at an early age because of bp and it is hereditary. she has also been prescribed meds that are used for this disorder as well. These are risky, strong drugs that are not handed out like candy. These were the drugs that Sam foolishly admitted to grinding up. Plus, no one, in any camp has ever denied that she is not suffering from this. No one. Period.
As for drugs ( I never went past my experiments w/ pot, and X and mushrooms a few times and I watch my alcohol intake CAREFULLY!), many bp people often use drugs to self medicate. It is a large danger of it. I think that her drug use goes right along with everything. Her drug use is well known, but I actually believe that she has been drugged and is abusing prescribed meds and not exactly of her choice. I think her predilection for drugs has been used against her. cut here.

Jamie is suppose to ask for a permanent conservatorship as the next hearing. He had to go through the legal channels before he could do that. 1 Year if granted.

I also believe that she can understand the nature of her problems to some degree and either doesn't care, and/or cannot face the reality of her life. 8:43 if the conservatorship is lifted, it would only be based upon a psychiatrist's report. The court would have to consider all aspects of the psychiatrists report and possible testimony to then judge how seriously to take Britney's testimony. I am sure the judge would also want to speak with her personally in order to form his own opinion. Also, remember she had nothing to do with the restraining order, it was her mother. Her being gravely disabled around the time the restraining order was issued will probably not be a big factor, if her testimony contradicts her mother's, and if her testimony is deemed credible.

Above, what I just said was an opinion and nothing more. I live with this disorder and I strongly believe that it is likely to be her problem, but cannot prove or diagnose it. I simply put it out there from the perspective of someone who lives and will live for the rest of my life with it. Take it as nothing more than that.

I believe Britney is Bipolar.

The problem is that the symptoms/medications everyone describes can go along with a lot of different mental illnesses. I know it's tempting to want to diagnose her, but none of us really can. Even the psychiatrists can't always be right the first time. It took us 15 years to get a correct diagnosis for my son. It's best left up to the doctors. When and if, they decide to make it public, everyone will know. I'm sure her problems are complex and they are trying the best drugs they can find for her situation. It's trial and error and takes a long time to get everything right and see improvement.

I know she is going to defend the drug dealer Sam. I can't say it's all Sam's fault. Drugs is a business and if you don't want drugs, just say NO. She's an adult. She knows the effects it has on you. She has been using on and off for many years, since she's 14. She drank from a very young age, so she's been partying. I don't know how her parents let her get away with it for so long?
Now it's not going to be easy to stop everything at one time. Sex can be a way to fill in the desire to get high, or shopping, many other addictions to take the place of the real problem.
She needs rehab with a good therapist to really kick the habit and, this takes time it can't just happen over night. If she been on since 14, that's a lot of years. JGLAD: Jumper is a good movie. I recommend seeing it. And Samuel Jackson is VERY good in it. He isn't "angry black man" in the movie at all.
