the reality of the situation is that republicans can not win unless they resort to smearing people. look at john mccain. remember how he was smeared in 2000 and it cost him the nomination for the republican party? now he has on his payroll the same people who worked for karl rove and george w bush who smeared him in 2000 to do the same thing to obama.

Obama isn't the Democratic Party, WE are. The rank and file is responsible for this crap. My vote is important to me and it's not going to my party this time. My party doesn't deserve my vote.

Don't be surprised if Palin suddenly drops out of the race. I bet if it happens, they will cite family concerns as the reason. There are rumblings in the GOP that many think that Palin's nod was ill advised and overly reactionary. And if something happens to McCain, do you really thing that Palin is ready to be the Commander in Chief?

i find it laughable that the christian religious right who were all full of joy when sarah palin was announced as the nominee(even though they had no idea of who she was) are now defending her daughter's behavior. they were upset when the movie juno came out. they were angered by jamie lynn spears' pregnancy. they were also mad about a story of a group of teenage girls (who were all from the same high school) planning to get pregnant at the same time. the story about the girls planning to get pregnant at the same time was not true and the principal of that high school had to resign. conservatives all said that these were bad examples being set by young people. now they are defending sarah palin and her daughter's irresponsible behavior?

I've never seen any of them paint targets on infants and teenagers before. It's lousy. I'm a registered Democrat. I'll still vote just for someone else, maybe a write in.
