I've always been regarded as a very good Mom to my children. But, do remember times when I was "very" young with my babies, feeling all alone and as if I was gonna lose it at times. I'm sure If many people were truly honest, there'd be many who would admit to the same. Thank God, for some reason I never did lose it. But certainly if I had, had a camera in my face every single second, I'm sure there would have been things seen or heard a time or two, that not everyone would agree with and would have been blown completely out of proportion, spiraling into some huge catastrophe. Accompany that, if you will, with being in that line of work, where you have to be on top of it all the time - people continuously telling you how beautiful, how sexy, you have to be this, you have to be that, if you want to reach this height of celebrity. You achieve that in astronomical proportions. "It must be true what everyone has said and is saying, look what I've acheived". Then one begins to believe it about themself - "how great I am - I can do no wrong".
Money is flowing -- huuuuge ridiculous amounts of money. Something most of us can never understand, because we deal with our week to week paycheck. Then you have the hangers on, who you "think" are your friends oooor family. You think they care about you, when 9 times out of 10, it's not you they care about, it's your $$$$. Actually in most cases, you're too young to understand and figure that out. Insecurities ensue. Things get and feel worse. Then you find someone that you love. You marry and for some reason it doesn't work. How many of us have gone through a divorce and remember how wrenchingly horrible it made us feel and how hard it was to deal with? Some of us it takes a few years to feel back to somewhat normal, just from that.
I am just like everyone else, thinking OMG, how in the world can she be doing this or that? She's doing alot of it on purpose or something is wrong. We would never do such a thing! We sit back and think of how we might love to be famous, we would do everything differently. Well, we may and we may not. How many of us when we get a lil' extra cash, go hog wild in a spending spree? Accompany that with millions every month. Most of us wouldn't know what to do with ourselves. We might start doing things we never did before. A big majority of us wouldn't, but there are alot that would. And just imagine the thought in your heads, "I've got all this money, I can do whatever in the world I want, I don't have to listen to anyone". And do things that we shouldn't.
OK - she rose to fame - and all that goes along with it - wonderful. Somewhere along the way, things got messed up. We all agree. Whether it was by her own choosing or also with the help of many. Most of us in this world have no one, or no means for help, when we're in crisis. Oh there are places you can call, centers you can go to -- if you have the money, but at that point in your life, when it's all so messed up you don't know what to do first or even care too. So many just give up and continue on with what they're doing. It's an unending spiral until you hit rock bottom and somehow pull yourself up or worse. While many of us sit and do all this gossiping, finger pointing, all the OMG's, I'm quite sure most of us would not want to see the "worse" happen to her. For those of us who have dealt with alcoholics and drug addicts -- it's not a quick fix. It's an ongoing, NEVER GIVE UP, constant process. For quite some time. Until they finally get it knocked in their heads. Sooo, she turns people away. That's what alcoholics and drug addicts do. She doesn't have to go out and rob people for her fix -- her money is plenty. (In some cases)Some would say the root of all evil. The alcohol and or drugs are "calling her", there is no rational side in her mind -- that is rational. It's the d-r-u-g-s. A person or people have to be constant, again saying, NEVER GIVE UP!
Having her children taken away? Most of us -- that would be it, but for people who are so wrapped up in drugs or alcohol - whatever it is -- they're calling her, they're calling her, that's what's important.
There has to be someone out there, who's tough enough to hang in there no matter what she says or threatens, until she is able to see and realize the truth. One of the problems is the money she has -- she can pay to keep people away, or taken to court,sued, whatever. So what does one do?
Doesn't she have court dates coming up for this or that? Isn't the amount of time she can get -- quite substantial? Mr. Judge out there -- please give her time in a **LENGTHY** drug rehab--and not one of those rich to-do places, and not a place that she's allowed to do whatever in the world she wants or allowed to walk out of. Drug rehab and emotional support -rebuilding. Then deal with her charges, whatever they may be, afterwards. Then possibly, she'd be strong enough to deal with her life, at being a mother, at being whatever she wants. It'll be pretty darn sad, if something really horrible should happen to her, when there are actually people and resources in this world that could step up and help her. Don't aaassssskkk her, do it.

I think what people are doing to Brittney is awful......as a fellow recovering addict who recently lost my own kids, i know how hard the first few days are.
