"No income" means AFTER EXPENSES- meaning his mortgage, support to Shar, HUGE security bill (court ordered 24 hour bodyguard when the kids are there because of aggressive paps and the risk of kidnappers, etc who might see Britney as an easy mark for extortion) and other expenses like food, health insurance for himself, the boys, and his other two kids- etc etc etc.
The money Britney has paid him in spousal support did not pay his support to Shar...BUT even if it had, there would be nothing wrong with that. Stay-at-home-moms are PRAISED for working only a little or not at all and spending the rest of the time with their kids...Kevin is lucky enough to be paid very well for the jobs he does and is blessed to be able to spend most of the time with the boys- yet people call him "loser" for it.
The fact that when a MAN goes batsh!t crazy and divorces a woman and leaves the kids with her and HE has a ton of money people want HER to wring him penniless but when a MAN gets the kids a the WOMAN is the one with the money...it's a whole other story, isn't it?
Thankfully Kevin knows that this time in the boys' lives will fly by and never come again as far as their character and cognitive development...they are lucky to have such a caring Daddy. A lot of men in Kevin's position would be using all of "their" money to buy ridiculous child-unfriendly cars (GOLLY, like a 200k 12 cylinder TWO seater Benz, huh?!) or obnoxious "toys"...but Kevin spends almost all of HIS earnings on actual living expenses.
The child support amount is determined by a PERCENTAGE of income...if the gender roles were reversed, a judge would have ALREADY increased Kevin's support as soon as he retained primary physical custody. Yet Kevin has STILL not asked for more money even though the law entitles him to a third of Britney's income.
I personally wish he would CLEAN her out, but he is not that unscrupulous...he just wants what the court would award anyone else. Britney blows through hundreds of thousands per month and doesn't put ANYTHING away for the boys...at least Kevin puts money away for their schooling and future expenses in case Britney blows her whole gazillion dollars fortune on frapps and midnight poinsettias at Target.
