I saw it the second time and it wasn't as bad as the first...but no where near expectations :-(...I was really pulling for her too. Even the celebrities there looked puzzled.

It really was bad. I was hoping for an excellent performance and some take-charge attitude (rocking her real hair or something). But, it was lackluster. Where was Criss Angel? Maybe there was a last-minute change of plans that threw her off.

The entire routine looked like the high school drill/dance team. It was horrible!! She looked bored and lazy and then it would be like she would suddenly realize where she was,try to seem interested & incredible for a second and then fall back into her coma. I thought her body LOOKED great -especially after having had two kids. Come on, people - give her a break. She should not have been wearing that outfit though.....and the boots were ridiculous for a dance number.

It wasnt that great. She looked sooo nervous and she didnt really do anything special that stood out.

She looked super uncomfortable! This wasn't her best but i know she has it in her to bring it. Maybe next time? Maybe cause Justin was in the audience?

The boots were the only things worth watching on that stage. The fat gut blubbering all over, the dead eyes, the ratty weave. What's next, x17? Did goblins come in and eat her toes and that's why she couldn't move?

It was kind of sad to watch. At first I thought it was going pretty badly, and then as it went on, I really started feeling sorry for her. I'm not a "Fan"; I like some of her old stuff, not into the new song, but I will say she has delivered some really awesome VMA performances in the PAST. She did look really nervous and like she really wasn't into it. Her body is looking really good for having two kids (better than me after my two! LOL) but maybe her costume choice wasn't the best. And she really should just go with the short hair until its all grown out...she looks cute with it. She prob could have pulled off some hair like Paris had tonight, which I thought looked really good. I agree, I hope this doesn't push her over the edge. But tonights performance does have me worried for her. : (

Maybe you can blame her crappy lipsyncing on the boots too.

It was pretty good... I think she could have tried to mouth the lyrics a little harder, but hell, its BRITNEY.. anything she does is great. I'm a biased fan ofcourse.

BY THE WAY... if you watch it 2 or 3 times it actually gets a lot better. I think the reason a lot of people don't like it is because the expectations were set WAYYY too high. Watch it again and it's not nearly as bad. I did just that and it's growing on me...

All I have to say is Sarah Silverman should be put in some sort of box and shipped out to sea. Its one thing to make fun of Brit, but bringing her little boys into it is NOT right.

I think the performance was awful and i was the one defending her to everyone who thought she was going to crash. She looked in shock and had a little stagefright. I really felt embarrassed for her because she has more potential. Sarah Silverman is a horrible woman. I think she should be censored.

I love Brit but everyone has to admit - that performace sucked big time! She looked good though.

She is lost. She just wasn't there. And she looked beautiful except for the hair and the song is great too. Really sad for her die hard fans. The world just isn't the same without Britney dancing her ass off to some funky fluff... and Silverman... that was the bitchiest meanest thing... to mention the kids? That is fucked up! The worst performance of the night was Silverman. That was way down low and the foo fighters asshole trashed her too... what the fuck do they need to trash her for ... what did she EVER do to them? I hope Diddy takes her on. I could swear I saw tears behind those sunglasses... this is a darling talented girl.. and it is heart breaking for her to fail but for industry people to trash her... the lowest of the low...

I stared blankly at the screen in shock! I had to ask my husband if I was imagined the performance. Frankly, the entire show was a mess. Everyone seemed high and didn't know what was happening next. Booooooooooooo Boooooooooooo!

It was really. Sad I was so disapointed, I was really excited and rooting for her. AH whatever, im still going to be interested in anything she does I'm just not going to get my hopes up again. And Uh, Sarah Silverman is horrible. Could you imagine Britney hearing that, ecspecially calling her kids mistakes, thats taking it to fare. The whole thing was just sad.

I was excited for her performance all week. It was alright, I was expecting more though. She could've done without the lip-synching cuz she has a good voice. The skimpy outfit should've been a no and she could've moved around the stage more.

Pathetic but expected. When you behave the way she has over the last few nights when you should be getting ready for something important your bound to crash! She is just so damn dumb. My advice to her is to go back to LA and immediately pack your uhaul and get the hell out of there before what's left of your soul (not much) is completely gone. She made a fool of herself and is now a laughing stock.

It was her first major gig in years, i don't blame her for being nervous, i think if she had more time to get things in order it could have been better, but all in all she did a good job for only 3 or 4 days practice.
