Either she's managed to tone up overnight, or Britney has been heavily airbrushed for her latest Candies photoshoot.

The singer looks stunning in a pink swimming costume, black bikini top and white skirt for the American brand, but also looks suspiciously slim as well.

After less than flattering pictures emerged of Britney on her Circus tour last month, including one which showed the star with a flabby belly, Brit looks a picture of glowing health in these new shots.

Britney reportedly didn't want to take any chances with these photos, and apparently called in the airbrushing experts to make sure she looked her best, reports the Daily Mail.

There's no doubt she looks gorgeous, but the skimpy outfits leave very little to the imagination, and considering the world's media have been particularly cruel about her flabby belly of late, we can understand her decision to indulge in a little airbrushing.

Her thin physique is arguably in stark contrast to her appearance in Newark, in March, but whatever the reason behind her shrinking frame, we're just glad to see Britney back to her fashionable best.

The singer apparently called in the airbrush experts after posing for a new shoot for American label Candie's.

Her usually muscular thighs look impossibly lean and every bump and blemish seems to have been glossed right over.

The 27-year-old stars in a series of skimpy outfits in the candy themed shoot, including a pink cut-out bathing suit, black string bikini and a white frilly skirt.

She has described the brand's spring collection as 'very hot' and 'very sexy'.

Her incredibly thin and flawless physique is a rather stark contrast to the fuller figure she put on show during her Circus tour in Newark, New Jersey, in March.

As she made an entrance on a swing, she seemed unconcerned about the danger of being seen from an unflattering angle.
