That depends on when the money stops changing hands. Certainly not a coincidence that she won all the MTV awards and just happened to give them an exclusive documentary! IMO

Awards from fans compulsively voting means nothing. When was the last time she won an award from the industry? Like a decade ago.

Britney increased the ratings of her episode by one million viewers up from the week before. 1,000,000 people tuned in just to see her. Give the woman her award already.

I was wrong. I'm happy but shocked! Britney’s fans were urged to vote for her to win the VMA awards. They turned out to vote like a wild horde of capuchin monkeys on a Red Bull and Methamphetamine binge. But they didn’t turn out to vote this time! Maybe the stories are true about some of her fans staging a revolt against the conservators pushing her to tour.

The MTV Pity Awards were different in that it was completely obvious that they all made a package deal with the Pity Awards to be followed up by the Fairytale Advertisement known jokingly as an interview! Lots of money changed hands and seeing as MTV and its' owners are about to go out of business, getting a side show freak seemed like a good idea at the time. Well, the ratings were atrocious compared to what they thought they could get! So no pay off, no new Pity Awards. They want ratings? Turn her loose with out supervision in a dangerous fast car filled with all the booze, illegal drugs, fraps, purple drank, greasy chicken, Cheetos, and shipping pallet full of smokes and film the disaster that will follow and THAT will get them ratings!!!
