Of course EVERYONE wants her healthier. It's just some of us are waiting for solid evidence to prove SHE wants to improve. I am behind her 100%, but as far as a willing effort, still haven't seen that.

How could any woman survive and stay mental healthy while being hunted like you paps hunt Britney. Every step,every smile every tear EVERYTHING of her is made public.
I don't understand how she manages to handle all that, day after day.
She may receive some desperatly needed support from her dad, now he experiences what a hell of a life his daughter has since so many years.

I'm soooo dying for a Britney interview. It seems like FOREVER since we've just seen her sit there and talk. Last one was Dateline when she broke down crying, right, when she was married to kfed?

It's weird because we never really get to hear HER side. We all sit here and come up with all these ideas and speculations of what's going on, blah, blah. I just wish she'd come forward on all this crap. I'd LOVE to hear her asked why she shaved her head! You know EVERYONE on here would be glued to their tv's. Don't deny it. Her life is her own and as private as she wants it to be. The truth is that our media driven society strips away all curiosity and mystery if they can. Movie stars in earlier times knew how to work publicity. Some of them remained a mystery to the public, thus increasing the public's intense desire to know more about them, thus increasing their popularity and purse.

The same still goes for women and movie stars: keep the suspense and mystery going as long as possible. It's a winning technique.

The doctor charges extra for house calls, most likely, and well worth it. Keeps the media rats away from the hospital, the doctor's office, and lets Britney have an actual doctor's visit without having to run the press gauntlet, increasing her anxiety.

There's nothing keeping the media out of a medical building and office, unless they throw them out. What a mess. How soon will the anti-rat/media laws go into effect?

What I would like to see is this turn around continue AFTER she is no longer under the constant supervision of her father. She has no choice but to cooperate at this point.
I will be the first one to root her along when she is on her own. Right now I hope for the best for her.

I'm of two minds.

I miss crazy Britney, and the constant stream of insane headlines her actions generated. I'm sure that the operators of tabloid websites miss crazy Brit too -- Just look at the number of posts that Britney generates today, versus a few months ago!

However, quiet Britney also has her good points. If she stays quiet (as in not 'singing' again), then that would probably be a net gain for humanity.

Britney is slowly but surely fading away into the sunset. Her mental illness will only get worse over time and you can look forward to a permanent conservatorship.
She will never sing again nor will she give another live public interview. It's sad but it's true people. Mental illness does not go away.

honestly, i do want her 'BETTER' for her beautiful kid's sake, but i don't see her making GREAT PROGRESS the way the BRITARDS do... the 'mellowing out' she's done is FABULOUS - but how much of that really is DADDY's doing?

i know we don't get to 'SEE' everything - but what has she done to work on her mind & soul?? the dance classes she taught were good, but what about:

- higher education classes?
- rcia workshops/religious retreats?
- reading/writing workshops?
- INTENSE parenting wkshps & counseling...?

SHE FUCKED UP TOO MANY TIMES when the ball was in her court for me to just give her a GOLD STAR for the 'APPEARANCE' of making strides... i want to see her keep making progress & maintain it for a year on her own before i will BELIEVE it is actually GENUINE & not for a PHOTO OP or 'SHOW'.

By the way, the doctors come to her because UCLA doesnt want the drama that she brings with her. I also would like to see how she does without her dad overseeing her but I do know from personal experience people can and do stabilize from bipolar disorder and go on to live productive lives. There have been several very good actresses that have bipolar and have written about their own experiences. Patty Duke wrote an excellent book about her experience.
