Yesterday, the Canuck version of Entertainment Tonight reported that Justin Timberlake and Madonna were set to perform together at the MTV VMAs next month.

Not so, says JT.

Timberlake spoke to Access Hollywood Wednesday night and said about the possible duet, “I am not. It was just a rumour.”

But MTV calls the Justin/Madonna buzz a “fantastic rumor,” and today Madonna's reps told "Extra" that Madonna will not be performing with Justin.

Let's hope she doesn't pull a Susan Smith with those kids. I'm telling you - she is going to do something horrible. Keep her away from bridges and water.

Entertainment News reports someone is having second thoughts about letting troubled, fading popster Britney Spears open the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 9 in Las Vegas. Spears was working with illusionist Criss Angel, but in recent days that train has been derailed. By what? By perhaps an overture from the more successful and less personally compromised ex-Spears boyfriend Justin Timberlake to open. Timberlake and Beyoncé have the most nominations this year, with seven apiece. Timberlake's rep confirmed he'll be attending the VMAs, but referred questions about a possible performance to MTV. A rep for MTV did not comment.

OK so I've just spent 10 minutes surfing about to end up looking at a picture of a toilet. It's a nice enough toilet, functional and modern, but there's just one thing missing - Her Britness isn't sitting on it! For me this totally demolishes any credibility that the toilet may have had in its lurid claim that it recently embraced Britters' buttocks.

Britney Spears has told friends that she wants to start a new life in the UK with her two sons.

With help from magician Criss Angel, the troubled singer has been planning a shocking vanishing stunt to round off her performance at the MTV Video Music Awards next month. It is believed that she will fly out to London with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, following her mysterious exit from the ceremony.

Spears is currently preparing for a custody battle against ex-husband Kevin Federline. Britney's ex-bodyguard Jonathan Rotem, former PA Shannon Funk and rehab clinic have all been summoned by Federline's lawyers to give evidence about her parenting skills.

A source told OK! USA magazine: "She thinks her only hope is to move to London and start afresh. She wants those boys more than anything in the world and it's heart-breaking."

However, US divorce attorney Raoul Felder has warned the star that disappearing with her kids would not be sensible.

He said: "You can run, but you can't hide. If you go to most foreign countries you come under the Hague Convention, which allows parents to seek the return of, or access to, their child. There would be a hearing in London and they would award the father the children."

I'm not a fan of Britney Spears, but I do feel sorry for her. Her parenting skills have become a circus for the tabloids. I can remember when my son was born, I was so scared. I did everything wrong. I was only 25 and they hand you this lttle baby with no instructions. Thank God for my mom. I don't know what I would have done without her. I feel bad that Britney doesn't have her mom in her life. I wish the press would leave her alone and let the family sort all this out. If I had my life displayed to the public, I would want to run away anywhere. In some pictures she looks so sad. All of this would make anyone depressed. I'm surprised she hasn't ended up in a hospital. I hope this all works out.

First Britney and Now Madonna Refuse To Appear On VMA's With Justin.

Don't let JT's spin doctors fool you. Neither Britney nor Madonna will be performing with Justin at the VMA's because they can't stand to be around him. Yes, he's extremely talented, but he's also an arrogant, pissy little creep, especially to his girlfriends.
With Britney it's a bit more understandable. He was her first real love, the one she gave it up for. If he was such a great guy, why was she driven to the arms of a backup dancer?
