The closed-door hearing stems from an Aug. 27 car accident that occured when Lutfi, 33, allegedly rammed his Mercedes into a Range Rover driven by Aaron Cohen, a process server hired by Kevin Federline to subpoena Lutfi in his custody case with his ex wife. Lutfi reportedly collided with Cohen's car after Cohen attempted to serve him the legal papers.

A police officer at the crash scene described the collision as "assault with a deadly weapon." But LAPD officials tell Us the case is now being considered a "vehicle vandalism incident."

Us has learned that Lutfi was eventually subpoenaed to testify in the Spears-Federline custody case but has not yet given a deposition.

Britney might be getting a law named after her. That's if L.A. City Councilman Dennis P. Zine gets his way. He is proposing that a "safety zone" be set up to protect public safety. At the same time that Osamah Lutfi showed up, there was a changing of the guard. Within a span of a week or two in the last half of June 2007, Mummy Spears got slapped with a so-called restraining order, agents were fired, lawyers were fired, etc., etc. Around this time, X17 started posting "Exclusives" of Brit in her backyard with the as-yet-unseen Jayden. X17 also starts referring to their "source close to Britney" that begins revealing insider information about the upcoming restraining order, etc. Brit starts being accused of changing clothes several times a day in order to make money off of photos in a deal with "a certain photo agency." Etc., etc., etc.

I'd bet this "changing of the guard," combined with a restraining order against her Mom, was seen as a great way to isolate dear Brit from everyone familiar to her.

It will be interesting to see, over the next couple of weeks, as Brit's financial audits start coming in and police investigations are wrapped up, just really WAS going on over the past eight or nine months.

IT is not uncommon for people with BIPOLAR DISORDER to mess up when it comes to taking their meds. That said, SAM LUFIT should never have given her any meds. IT is morally, ethically and legally inappropriate. There is an inves-tigation going on and he DAMN well knows it. As for criminal charges they are FORTHCOMING. And he knows that too. This is a blatent attempt to try to SWAY public opinion because he is not in touch with reality enough to realize that he can not do damage control on this. IT is PUBLIC RECORD IN A COURT OF LAW. And the JUDGE that hears his case when he GOES TO TRIAL will not care about what a publicist says. Or what he claims. He will look at the facts of the case. They are already reviewing his text messages, e-mails and phone records. His bank accounts, tax records. This takes time to do but yes he will be arrested and charged accordingly and he damn well knows it. He is scared to death.
