Why haven't more people commented on the pack of pathetic and obssesive losers who follow this poor girl around 24/7, crowding her on sidewalks and getting in her face. They should get jobs that actually contribute to something instead of pestering others. Because of them, people with her level of fame are made prisoners on the planet they live on because they can never get any privacy. "Oh god, what if I make a mistake or do something the WHOLE WORLD doesn't like". I know I would be a little stressed under that kind of scrutiny. She can't go anywhere without cameras on her. We all take for granted the quiet walks we ourselves can take at the end of a hard day to relax. She can never have that because every move she makes gets recorded by someone, somewhere, somehow. I don't think she did this for attention. Why would any one think that. She has that already. These guys have been hounding her like this since long before the haircut and she even said that they were part of the problem in one of these videos. Did we all forget how the paparazzi's tenacity helped in the death Princess Diana. It didn't drive her mad but it made her run for it and we know the end result there. It's a brave and bold thing to do especially knowing that her fans and the media would be reacting to it in whatever crazy ways they chose. Now on a superficial level, because I don't know her at all, I think she still 'looks' great. She was a beautiful looking girl before the cut and she still is now. Being different has it's own level a attractiveness to some and I think she's trying to tap into that again like she's done through her whole career. How many different hairstyles has she had now. Most of them were actually quite private and had the luxury of being able to keep the fame seperate from their real lives because not everyone had a camera in their phone. It's a sad truth and will probably only get worse. These guys shouldn't be able justify their actions by saying that these are the rich and famous who have it all and therefore should be happy at all times, so that they, with less, deserve to profit off all aspect of a rich or famous persons life with obssessive attention and by saying it's the publics right to know everything. It's not. These are people after all with lives and feelings of their own just like us. How would any of the rest of us handle the paparazzi following us around all the time. Would you cater your life to the wishes of the media and public by doing only what they think is right or appropriate? How boring would that be. Many other stars of today have made careers by only doing the outrageous. Why is Britney Spears different from them. So why are we grilling someone for a haircut. As a 24-year old mother of two, I think Britney needs to get her stuff together for herself and her children. It is not fair for her children to have to suffer.
