And you're right, the LASD has the video and are currently investigating Joe for assault which has been widely reported on legitimate news agencies. As for his friends,the manager and the owner (Joe' statement that he was with his good friend the owner of Guys and Dolls), the only testimony has been to the gossip sites. The sheriffs have repeatedly asked for them to come to the West Hollywood station to be interviewed to which they haven't complied. The sheriffs have said that this isn't a high priority case and the fires currently burning in LA county have more importance and that they will continue to investigate once they have more time.
Was Francis also "innocent" when he bribed the prison guards and was found to have contraband (pills..anti-anxiety meds Aprazolam and Lorazepam, as well as the sleeping med Lunesta.) In case you don't remember he was charged with bribing a public servant, three counts of possessing a controlled substance and five counts of introducing contraband -- cash and drugs -- into a detention facility. The President of Mantra Films, Scott Barbour, the company that produces "Girls Gone Wild," has also been arrested by the Bay County Sheriff on suspicion of slipping the pills and the cash to Francis.
