You might remember the novel by Nick McDonell (who wrote it when he was 17) coming out a couple years back, about a group of elite Manhattan teens getting involved with drugs and violence. Basically it's like Cruel Intentions, which is like Gossip Girl, which Chace currently stars in.
So much for doing something different!
