For those who have never lived with both verbal or physical abuse, perhaps it might be beyond your comprehension to understand what people go through being abused as a child. Charlize and I saw the background of both being ex-South Africans and living with "men" who abused.
For all that she has been through, she has shown strength, dignity and does not treat people like she was treated. She is not conceited and most certainly not like the rest of LaLa Land, false to the point of not knowing who you are. She knows who she is, knows where she came from and protects her mother with ever inch of her being.
