Chris Brown's Attorney Asks For Surprise Meeting With Judge

Chris Brown BrownMysteryMeeting.jpgMark Geragos, Chris Brown's attorney, has requested an unscheduled hearing before the R&B singer's planned arraignment on April 6th, TMZ reports.

According to the website, the hearing will take place on March 23rd. Prosecutors and Geragos will meet, but Brown is not expected to attend.

Details of what will be discussed are unclear, however, TMZ reports it may concern Rihanna's possible testimony. Geragos could ask the judge to prevent prosecutors from calling Rihanna to the stand or limit the scope of her testimony. A plea bargain is not expected to be discussed.

Are they trying to keep Rihanna off the witness stand???

Why do you think they want to keep Rihanna from testifying???

Do you ever actually get any info w/o stealing it from other sites? I cannot count the number of times one of your entries is nothing but regurgitation.

The way I see it his side will want her to testify, because it lessens the seriousness of the assault. She will say she was over it the next day, she loves him, they have made up and she forgives him, it was just a once in a lifetime thing. All good arguments that this was a misdemeanor not a felony.

The DA probably cares less, he has an absolute lock on felony assault with great bodily harm. All he has to do is prove Chris did what the pictures show and keep the pictures in front of the jury or judge for as long as possible.

This is the kind of crap hearing that one side does to delay or obfusticate the other.

I am so sick of hearing about this! I'll be glad when it's all over and they can move on!

Wow...can any of these sites post any more stories with any less facts. Seriously, if I read one more suggests or presumes...and also all of these unnames sources and "friends" crawling out of the woodwork. Until it actually comes out of their mouths who knows what is true anymore. Maybe justice should just be allowed to run its course and both of these young people can get the help they require to live long healthy and happy lives.
