They were husband and wife first and foremost and their best chances of raising a healthy and well-adjusted child will be to maintain that husband and wife relationship. Tessie: As to why isn't she wearing her wedding ring? I guess you have never been pregnant. Most all women I know were unable to wear their wedding rings due to swelling from about the 4th month of pregnancy through to about 4-6 months after the baby was born (regardless of whether their pregnancy weight gain was significant or not). It was always a big joke in the OB/GYN office about the number of "unwed" mothers judging from the lack of wedding rings.

It's funny to think that years ago she was the one that everyone gave a hard time to for her supposedly wild ways, but in reality she was pretty private and just kind of whored it up for the camera. Now all of these supposedly clean ones are a mess, and this one keeps trooping along sticking true to herself and turning out pretty cool. Also, she had more talent than the others to start with. She's awesome and grown-women are allowed to have dinner with their husbands even after having a baby. We should all be so lucky to have help that allows a couple of hours to for dinner.
