Christina Applegate Battling Breast Cancer

Emmy award nominated Samantha Who star Christina Applegate has just been diagnosed with breast cancer.

"Benefitting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening. Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery," her rep said in a statement to Us.

Applegate, whose mother is a breast cancer survivor, is currently enjoying a television comeback with her television hit, Samantha Who, about to enter its second season on ABC.

We hope she continues to remain healthy!

After reading most of the 13 year, pre-pube comments here, why bother? Anyway, we should all be so fortunate to detect things like this early. Women AND men can get breast cancer. When the time comes that someone in your life has cancer, I wonder if you'll think back to what a useless ass you were commenting like that. Doubt it.
