Connor Cruise Following In Father's Footsteps, Signs On To Second Big Film Role
Connor's taking after his dad Tom, jumping into his second major movie role (his first was as a young Will Smith in Seven Pounds) in the remake of the 80s classic Red Dawn.
THR reports that Cruise will play Daryl, the son of the town's mayor who helps mount a resistance when the town is invaded by Chinese and Russian troops.
Connor will have to go through a few weeks of military training before the shoot starts next month in Detroit.
But military training should be a breeze compared to his Scientology training, right?
Or at least it should prepare him for the strict discipline of basic training!
