So what stops these two from being one of Hollywood's most adored fams? I guess because we never see their daughter Coco much! But I think Court's beauty and elegance more than makes up for that, right?

Courteney Cox has reportedly got a new comedy series in the works about a super-hot, newly single 40-something mom called Cougar Town. (We're guessing the censors wouldn't let them call it "MILF Town")

The former 'Friends' and 'Dirt' star will also executive produce the series for ABC.

You can expect to Courteney's new series to claw its way on the air next year.

Last night Kate Hudson threw a huge Halloween party, one week ahead of the actual holiday.

The guest list reads like a who's who of the A-List, with Cindy Crawford pulling off a pretty good, albeit too pretty Amy Winehouse, Tobey Maguire and his wife Jennifer as a white trash couple, and Leo in a mask (sooo creative, right?).

Sasha Baron Cohen was udderly adorable as a cow, Courteney Cox looked hot as a witch, David Arquette matched his wife as a wizard, Kate's dad Kurt Russell dressed as a pilot (doncha just love a man in uniform?) Jason Statham went as Zorro, and Anthony Kiedis, Kate's brother Oliver Hudson and many many more came in costume.

Wonder what Kate dressed up as? A Tour de France cyclist is probably out of the question, right?

A barefaced Courteney Cox went shopping at Barneys in Beverly Hills yesterday, and it looks like she really stocked up! The Friends star was joined by three gal pals, including Tobey Maguire's wife, Jennifer Meyer. Hey, there's nothing like combining quality girl time with a little retail therapy!

We caught Courteney Cox as she dropped off her darling daughter Coco at school in Hollywood yesterday. Though Courteney is usually poker faced when photogs are present, she just couldn't keep the smile off her face this time!

I guess when one of the funniest men on the planet invites you to a party at his pad, you come!

In addition to Ellen and Portia, Jennifer Aniston (taking a break from her Mayer-athon) and Courteney Cox showed up with Coco in costume, Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer brought cowgirl Ruby, and even Superbad Jonah Hill, Laura Dern with Ben Harper and Rosanna Arquette put in an appearance to the cowboy themed birthday party!

And so does Courteney Cox!

The two actresses - both at the Thompson hotel the other night - premiered their directorial debuts at Glamour magazine's Reel Moments event in Hollywood last night. Demi and Courteney (who kinda resemble each other, don't ya think?) directed shorts based on stories from the mag's readers. Screenwriter Kirsten Smith also showed a short film starring Anna Faris, while Demi's starred her own daughter, Rumer.

But who rocked their black dress better - Demi or Court?

Don't get me wrong, these women look fabulous for their age, but as they grow older, they're starting to grow more alike in my mind.

Is it that they're both hot cougs married to younger men? That they both have long brown hair? That their careers seem to be faltering at the moment? Or that they've both had the aid of botox?

Or maybe it's just that they were both at the Thompson hotel the other night, Demi with Ashton and Courteney with a friend.

Oh, and can you guess which one's "mom ass" this is?

First of all, I really like Courteney Cox. She's like an even hotter, more talented version of Demi Moore. Plus, she looks fab!

Even though, while talking to Marie Claire recently, she admitted to trying botox. "But I hated it," claims the actress. "I was miserable." It's okay, Court, we forgive you!

She also talks about her relationship with David Arquette, saying that while "I'm so in love with David right now," she also recognizes that "there are times that you're disconnected. You can see how relationships end if you don't work through it."

This, coupled with the fact that last week, Courteney dined with Tobey Maguire's wife Jennifer Meyer (pictured above) at Il Sole while David partied at One Sunset across the street...

...on the SAME night! Hmm, that's kinda odd. Wouldn't they wanna be together, especially considering that both places are next door to each other?

Or maybe they were just with friends and having a good time. We wonder!

The Women in Hollywood awards brought out all of Hollywood's A-List females (as well as some C-listers -- sorry Kat!), most of whom were dressed pretty sedately in knee-length cocktail dresses.

Course, Kate Beckinsale, in her full-length goddess gown managed to stand out, as did Jennifer Lopez, but for a very different reason:

Looks like Jenny from the block needs a bit more sleep, or a glass less of champagne or both!

Courteney Cox hosted an early Halloween party for all her friends and their kids in Malibu over the weekend.

Joining Coco and David were Isla Fisher, Sasha Baron Cohen (back from his runway debut in Europe), and, of course, a solo Jennifer Aniston.

Maybe Coco could wave her wand and make a boyfriend appear for Auntie Jen?

Friends Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston support each other through everything: marriages, having kids (well, Courteney, anyway), divorce, break-ups and more break-ups!

But when it comes to supporting her BFF on her spokesmodeling career for Smartwater, that's where Courteney draws the line!

While Jen only drinks the stuff they pay her to schill, Courteney's drink of choice is Arrowhead.

This weekend saw the passing of not only comic great Bernie Mac and music legend Isaac Hayes, but also A-List manager/producer Bernie Brillstein, who managed the careers of Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt and Courteney Cox, just to name a few off the very long list of stars.

Brillstein's memorial Monday was as star-studded as a movie premiere, which is fitting for the man who pioneered such shows as SNL and The Sopranos, and photogs caught a solemn Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and David Arquette heading into the services.

Our condolences to the Brillstein family and his many friends.

I really do love Courteney Cox. And why shouldn't I?

A raven-haired beauty, Cox somehow manages to grow more radiant with each passing year. Her expert comic timing on Friends was, in my opinion, always underrated. And aside from playing neurotic Monica Gellar on the sitcom, Cox has also created fearlessly strong, albeit wicked, characters in the Scream series and on her recent TV show Dirt.

So why does she look kinda off in these pix? Is it the messy hair, the oddly fitting top? Who knows! Here's Court picking up daughter Coco on Wednesday... take a look in the vid below!

What a nice life these two have!

BFFs Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are both rich enough that they never have to work again, they're both with much younger men, and they both have houses in Malibu!

Course Aniston never became a breakout star in films and Dirt was cancelled, but so what? It's not like they needed the money!

I don't get the current obsession with Absinthe. Now that it's legal in the US (and is about half the proof), it's pretty much as potent as a normal bottle of vodka, but tastes like black licorice.

I hate black licorice!

Anyhoo, Courteney and David came out to promote David's short film "The Butler's in Love", which he directed, starring Arquette's brother and brother-in-law. Not sure if Le Tourment Vert absinthe has something to do with the film or if they just used it to help subsidize the party!
