Daniel Radcliffe has denied sparking up a joint at a house party after a picture of him smoking a curious-looking cigarette hit the tabs yesterday.

A spokesperson for the famous wizard told the Daily Mail, "Daniel does smoke the occasional roll-up cigarette, but he was not doing anything more than this."

Not that there's anything wrong with the occasional toke, but if the hero to millions of kids was caught puffing on wacky-tabacky, his film career could go up in smoke.

A few months ago, Daniel's Harry Potter co-star Jamie Waylett was ordered to do 120 hours of community service after he admitted to growing pot plants in his home.

Radcliffe's rep said of the allegations, "We are considering our position and will be taking all necessary action."

He may be one of the richest young actors in the world, but Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe still has a curfew, according to Page Six.

The column reports the 19-year-old actor, currently appearing (nude BTW - but we're sure you already knew that) in the Broadway show "Equus" must be home by 1 a.m. The curfew, set by his parents, is supposedly enforced by a "keeper" who follows Daniel everywhere he goes.

You've got to admit his parents may be on to something, given all the trouble young Hollywood stars seem to have a habit of getting into. Just sayin' ...

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe sat down with Details and talked about his work, his goals and even opened up about his personal life.

On his dream role:
"I think part of me would love to play a drag queen, just because it would be an excuse to wear loads of eye makeup."

On having a girlfriend:
"Most of my friends have been girls, and I see how they are with their boyfriends and I think, I couldn't do that. I just don't have the time."
Additionally, it's worth noting that Radcliffe "tends to date older women." Hmmm!

On his extracurricular activities:
"I don't pretend to do anything particularly wild. People talk about rebellion and they say, 'Where is the teenage angst?' But I say I try to do it simply by the choices I make in the work I do. I just like wrong-footing people. I write poetry and I love it. I like being different from most other people in my generation."

Reuters UK reports that 18-year-old Daniel Radcliffe - best known for playing the title role in the Harry Potter movies - will perform on Broadway in the play Equus this September.

Radcliffe already played the role in London last year, which involves stripping off, uh, all his clothes! The Brit even admits that he's "terrified" of doing the play overseas because co-star Richard Griffiths told him that "the most stupid thing you can do is underestimate New York audiences."
