They're REQUIRED to have a fence erected around the pool if there are small children in the household. It has nothing to do with having more babies. Their three sons are very young. I agree with the other posts. That's a really small pool, likely built just for show.

Although I am not from the US from what I have read lately (due to the Brit pool stories) indicates that it is law to have a fence around your pool, not to mention complete common sense for a family with THREE young children (and I dont care how well they may possibly swim at this age).
