Stripping in a gay bar does not make him gay. It makes his tippers gay. The three bottom contestants are the three I chose also -- actually I called a 4 way tie with Ramielle being 4th -- based 100% on performance, not sexual preference or previous careers. I do not understand why Taylor Hicks doesn't get airplay. He was awesome on AI!!

SHINIZZLE.....agreed...I admit I have in the past voted for my fav contestant....but after Hicks won....I NEVER voted again.

Daughtry leaving early was the BEST thing that could have happened for him. At least Daughtry isn't tied to one of those crappy Idol contracts.

We have to admit he wasn't the best but he did deserve another chance. Christy should have went home last night. She wont win either!! Based on his last performance....it was bad....but should have had one more chance because he was pretty good!!!

While I agree that Cristy Lee Cook really was the one that should have left last night it really was just a matter of time for David - he's alright but he's just not that great...certainly not enough to sell records.....Now, David Cook - he can sell records!!!

i actually decided to not vote for his purley based off of the stipping background. i think thats disgusting and i dont think an "idol" should have a shady past. to bad... i didnt think he voice was to bad.

Kristy's performance was painful, so was Archeletta's for that matter. I loved Taylor season 5 but am disappointed with his CD. It sucked, period.

Do any of you nay-sayers have a shred of PROOF that AI is fixed? I'm just curious to know how you think this is rigged? The judges are given their chance to put through the "pretty" contestants and the one's they know America will grab on to - but that's it for them. If the show's credibility was really in danger of being exposed, it would have happened already - this is season 7! Fox Network big-wigs wouldn't allow it - the ratings have kept the network from going under - you don't think they have ways to check on accuracy, etc. There's been controversial votes on every season - and correctly spoken earlier, Daughtry was given the greatest gift when he was voted off - I hope that David Cook is given that same "safety" from outside the AI umbrella - he's this year's Daughtry. If you don't enjoy the show, and think that it's all rehearsed and set-up, then don't bother commenting on these sites - nobody wants to hear your bulls*** - let those of us that do still believe in the entertainment value of the show to enjoy it

So that's why they kicked Daughtry off way before his time? They knew the guy was going to be huge and I am sure they wish he had stayed. And the producers love this guy David. They already have songs written for him anyway so why would they toss him before the 10th place when he could at least tour with the group?

He is definately gone because of the men's club stripping... no doubt in my mind. People couldn't get the pic out of their mind of him swinging it around for men and for $$. Kristy Lee Cook should have been gone, she has a nice voice and is cute but does not have star quality. As far as cute blonde female country singers we already have Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift, she's not even close to being in their league.

Kristy Lee Cook deserved to go for her horrid rendition. I have no issue with David's past but he didn't exactly shine either. Very ordinary. He would have been gone soon anyway.

I was 100% expecting Simon to say that his performance was very Six Flags or Carnival Cruise Lines entertainment. It was atrocious. I though he deserved to go. I like Kristy's voice. She just needs to get a better song going. The guy from last week is married, btw.
