my reaction was not laughter at all, I actually cringed in shock. especially at seeing Paris' uncomfortable face and the audience cheering uncontrollably. I was especially unnerved by the audience, because I think they were shocked/nervous too and that was their automatic knee jerk reaction. and very odd, since I am sure many of those spoiled celebs and crazy music stars have done much the same thing that Paris did, regarding alcohol/drugs. the ones who cheered? trying walking in her shoes, even if she is a hateful annoying spoiled brat. dont be hypocrites

I felt bad for Paris too. She was totally uncomfortable in that situation. You kind of have to give her credit for holding herself the way she did. I might have cried. But I guess maybe she knows even more now that she has to do this and do it with pride and take it. Hearing those cheers and mean jokes have to wake you up a bit. Plus she'll make money out of this somehow (Martha Stewart anybody) so either way she really wins in the end.

Jail is not something easy to face. Sarah Silverman, that unintelligent loudmouth used her one chance to publicly humiliate someone who had no chance to speak, and while she was at her most vulnerable. I hope she learns how that was wrong in the future when someone can put a spotlight on one of her own faults and ask others to jeer at her.

I've never been a Sarah Silverman fan -- don't know much of her work -- but I am now. Paris needed to hear up close the crowd cheering at the idea of her locked up. So is everyone that was cheering just jealous? I think not.
