Dennis Quaid probably thought he was going to enjoy a nice romantic meal with his wife Kimberly last night, but since a certain other Kimberly was having her birthday bash at Philippe Chow, there were hordes of photographers camped outside the restaurant. Dennis seemed overwhelmed by all the attention as he made his way into the hip eatery, but the real excitement happened when he left!

X17 photographers tell us that just as soon as Dennis climbed into his SUV and got behind the wheel, a cop pulled up next to him in the parking lot. The cop noticed that Dennis had a little too much to drink, and he told him several times to get out of the car. Dennis seemed scared at first, but when he asked if he could get out and go back into the restaurant to call a cab, the officer said yes and let him go.

Technically Dennis could have gotten a DUI as he moved the car a few inches, but it looks like the cop was in a good mood last night! Either that or he was giving Dennis special treatment because he was famous...

Dennis Quaid was spotted out and about in Hollywood yesterday, looking not exactly out of place on the boulevard, in his dirty t-shirt and jeans, buying celebrity gossip rags like Star.

I never figured 55-year-old Dennis Quaid would be the type to keep up on all the Hollywood gossip, but I guess since he and his fam are so frequently in the news, it's a good thing to see what's being said out there!

Or maybe he just really wants to know the juicy deets on the alleged JT/Rihanna hookup!

Hey, you can't blame us for almost mistaking Dennis' wife Kimberly Buffington for his daughter, she looks young enough to be a Lindsay Lohan doppleganger!

Course, Lindsay looks 30 these days, so maybe that's not saying much!

Dennis Quaid and his wife have agreed to a $750,000 settlement with the hospital that gave his newborn twins a nearly lethal dose of blood thinner, according to the Associated Press.

A petition filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday shows the Quaids and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center have agreed on the parents' damages, but can still file claims on behalf of their children.

Cedars-Sinai is not admitting wrongdoing as part of the settlement.

The Quaids sued drug maker Baxter Healthcare Corp. in Illinois over the drug's packaging, but that case was thrown out.

The petition filed Monday indicates Baxter may also sue Cedars-Sinai, which administered too much Heparin to several patients, including the Quaid twins, in November 2007.

Looks like Dennis Quaid is having a blast in Sin City! The other night the actor dined at Nobu, played some poker at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and finally enjoyed the Patriots game at the Hard Rock bar. We're jealous!

Dennis Quaid and wife Kimberly took a stroll in Santa Monica yesterday with twins Zoe and Thomas. It's hard to believe that less than a year ago the twins were fighting for their lives!

Last week, Meg Ryan broke her eight year silence and opened up to In Style about her marriage to Dennis Quaid. The actress told the magazine, "Dennis was not faithful to me for a very long time," and added that his infidelity was "very painful."

Hmmm...it doesn't sound like Dennis is denying the allegations that he cheated on Meg, so as far as we're concerned, it's fine for Meg to bring it up!

Almost a year after his newborn children received an accidental overdose of Heparin at Cedars Sinai, we spotted father Dennis Quaid with twins Thomas and Zoe and everyone looked good and healthy!

Such a scary situation Dennis and his wife Kimberly found themselves in last year, but comforting to know that the kids are fine now. And look how cute they both are!

Just a few days before the LA Times' profile of his family's recent terrifying episode returned his name to the news, Dennis Quaid ducked out for coffee and bagels yesterday.

Needless to say, we're thrilled to see Dennis' routine returning to mundane!

Loggans has confirmed that the couple's infant children are finally well again. "The twins are back home," Loggans said, "They've fully recovered." Thank goodness! (Don't count on that being the end of the story, though - Dennis and Kim are still taking the manufacturers of Heparin, the drug overprescribed to their twins, to court!)

No doubt there's a lot of stress for the Quaid family right now BUT, and I'm not just saying this as someone on the side of the paps, I think the best way for Dennis and his wife Kimberly to be on the attack against the negligence of the staff at Cedars Sinai, is to allow the media to cover this story to the fullest extent.

It is because of magazines like Us Weekly, People, In Touch, and others (our clients), that this story has received the wide coverage it has and because of these publications' reporting, that mainstream news outlets picked up on the horrifying reports that Quaid's newborn twins were given an accidental overdose of the drug Heparin through a mix-up at the world-renowned hospital.

We just spotted Dennis Quaid and Kimberly Buffington en route to Cedars Sinai to visit their two recently-poisoned infants! On their way, Dennis and Kim stopped off at the sherriff's station to request a police escort. We can't really blame them - after all they've gone through, they're probably feeling pretty vulnerable!

Us is reporting that the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center has issued a formal apology for their horrifying mistake in treating Dennis Quaid and Kimberly Buffington's newborn children yesterday afternoon. "I want to extend my deepest apologies to the families who were affected by this situation," Dr. Michael L. Langberg, chief medical officer at Cedars, said in a statement, "and we will continue to work with them on any concerns or questions they may have...This was a preventable error." At least the situation seems to be getting better - Us quotes Kim's mother Delia as saying "They are doing well, much better...I certainly am thankful for that." Us too!

Dennis is definitely one of those guys that gets hotter with age. Younger wife Kimberly Buffington obviously agrees!

We noticed Dennis and Kimberly Quaid slipping out of a party at Chateau Marmont a few nights ago, and we couldn't resist snapping a few shots - after all, would you let the chance to capture such a strikingly attractive couple on film pass you by?

I've thought Dennis Quaid was hot ever since I saw him in those short-shorts in Breaking Away, and he's been one of those actors that just gets better with age...but I'm not sure the beard is really doing it for me!
