This was not an accident, there are different ways to commit suicide including alcohol and cigarettes. Would they have callled it an accident if he weren't well known?

He did it to himself, knew exactly what he was doing the whole time. And yes, indeed, there is a double standard when it comes to celebs and regular people like us. This is relieving in that we don't have to weep over yet another homicide probe into a death caused by prescription drugs. If it was an accident that is still a shame, but it's a little more saddening to think that someone could have been drugged to the point of overdose by the will of another. We face that grim possibility in the deaths of Anna Nicole Smith and Michael Jackson already. It's just an ugly image to think of people around Anna Nicole actively participating in her abuse of prescription drugs. Her closest associate and attorney, Howard K. Stern was labeled as the main enabler, what could have possibly been worth contributing to the overdose of your "friend." The off-chance of hanging onto the coat-tails if she collected on her utterly frivolous claim to the Marshall Estate? That is like gambling with another person's health while accepting the odds of a lottery ticket.

Oxycontin is pretty hardcore. You wouldn't expect to live from taking that high a dose if you were experienced in taking them.

I've been there. I suffer from PTSD, I tried numbing trauma with drugs, wondering if that day was the day I chose death. There are no good days when your in that frame of mind. It's a day to day struggle to function and keep it together. Plus it's a silent suffering as people around you do not understand the depths of post traumatic stress disorder. I was deeply affected by AM's death, because I do understand that unspoken hopelessness and I was heart broken to see that the bad days won. I hope his death isn't forgotten but used as a wake up call. I also hope it might become an example that not only does act have a consequence and how important good treatment for PTSD is.
May I also add, it's so sad to see the rambling of the uneducated and clueless.
