Tires to Blame in Travis/DJ AM Crash

DJ AM DJAM_200.jpg It looks more and more like a tire blow out caused the Learjet carrying DJ AM and Travis Barker to crash during takeoff last month in South Carolina.

Wednesday, the NTSB said there was very little rubber left on the plane's tires and the brakes were severely damaged.

The cockpit voice recorder reveals the pilots believed a tire had blown and were trying to abort the takeoff when the crash happened.

The crash killed four people and left DJ AM and Travis seriously burned and injured.

The tire blew out and took out the "squat switch", a device that tells the plane that it is on the ground. Without a squat switch, the plane thinks it is airborne, and standard braking mechanisms don't work...only emergency brakes were operable and they weren't enough to stop it from take-off speeds...LearJet will pay big time for this one...

And the $$s that these two losers get from all of this, should be donated to the families of those that died, not just their friends, the crew too. Yet, something tells me that these greedy bastards will keep it all to themselves, so much for a life changing event. Travis is now selling shirts that say "F!ck the Police" and he doesn't mean the music group either. Live and learn fellas!
