Tires to Blame in Travis/DJ AM Crash
It looks more and more like a tire blow out caused the Learjet carrying DJ AM and Travis Barker to crash during takeoff last month in South Carolina.
Wednesday, the NTSB said there was very little rubber left on the plane's tires and the brakes were severely damaged.
The cockpit voice recorder reveals the pilots believed a tire had blown and were trying to abort the takeoff when the crash happened.
The crash killed four people and left DJ AM and Travis seriously burned and injured.
