Mario Lopez and partner Karina Smirnoff heated up the dance floor last night with a sexy samba, passionate paso doble and ferocious freestyle dance. But were the real fireworks happening offstage? Last night after the show, Mario and Karina spent some time with his family at the Hotel Sofitel in West Hollywood, while Cheryl Burke partied with friends at Hyde. While both Mario and Cheryl wished each other luck, Mario's Mom weighed in on who she thinks should win - Mario and Karina, of course!
Karina's already gotten in good with the family, the couple has already had their first dance...what's next for these two after tonight's results are revealed? Do you think Mario and Karina are a real couple or are they just fakin' it to get more votes?
As for the show - Mario and Emmitt won matching scores from the judges last night. That means it's up to the viewers to decide who should win! Who do you think is the better dancer?
As adorable as Emmitt is, my vote is for Mario and Karina!

I never used to like Mario because of the whole cheating on Ali Landry thing, but I soooo want Mario & Karina to win. Mario is clearly the better dancer, and isn't that the point of this whole show?? The problem is, with all the Emmitt fans out there, I'm not sure that they will win. Oh well, I voted.

I voted for Mario both on line and phone line. Both were very busy. I know Mario will win. He is the best dancer in that show and has great dancing moves. I rooted for Joey Lawrence to compete with Mario at finals because I truly believe that both of them are the best among the celebs that competed this year.
Emmitt is not a bad dancer; but he is surely not a ballroom dancer-- he doesn't have what it takes to be a ballroom dancer, just look at those professional male dancers on the show. Again, it's not a popularity contest; it's a dancing contest for goodness sake.
