LAPD Investigating Dane/Gayheart Sex Naked Tape!
The LAPD has confirmed to X17online that they are investigating the now infamous "naked tape" of Dane, Gayheart and former Miss Teen USA contestant/Playboy model Kari Ann Peniche to determine whether or not any illegal activity was taking place.
In a statement, the cops told us:
- "On July 30, 2009, an unnamed source provided the LAPD’s Detective Support and Vice Division, with a copy of a DVD. According to the source, the DVD contained images that could link celebrities engaging in illegal activity.
The LAPD was in the process of reviewing the voluminous files contained on the DVD when the story was leaked to the media. No determination has been made as to whether or not the DVD contained any information that could be used for a criminal investigation."
Although rumors that Peniche's former Celebrity Rehab roommate, country singer Mindy McCready, was the one to turn in the steamy tape are circling the web, the LAPD declined to reveal the identity of the source.
The couple's lawyer has threatened to sue anyone who displays the "private" video, but it's still available online for your viewing pleasure here.
