Eva Is Alluring!

Eva Longoria graces the November cover of Allure, and she also sat down with the magazine for a surprisingly honest interview. The Desperate Housewives actress chats about her hubby, her recent weight gain, her career, her awkward phase, as well as immigration and her mentally disabled sister.
On her ugly phase:
- "My nickname was Prieta Fea, which means 'ugly dark one' in Spanish. I was dark and skinny, and my sisters were fair. I didn't blossom until college...It was so funny, because my sisters were so mean to me. They used to say I was adopted, and 'We picked you up at the hospital. You were the extra baby that day.'"
On her mentally disabled sister Lisa:
- "Our world was around Lisa. It was like, 'we can't vacation here because Lisa can't go. We can't go there because Lisa can't climb those stairs.' So I never had time to live through other people's lives - like where they want to know, like, what's next for Angelina Jolie? There was just no time. Having my sister made for a certain kind of selfless family. My mom became a special-ed teacher because of Lisa - and instead of growing up thinking, I want to be rich and famous and beautiful, I kind of got the idea that I had to do good."
The folks at Allure told us they thought this is one of the most gorgeous covers ever, and we totally agree! Eva looks stunning and we never thought we'd say this, but her short hair looks fantastic here.
