Quite frankly, Eva Longoria is in the news because she is a pretty lady---the growth of Latinos in the celebrity world speaks to the growth of their overall population in the US. Why should you be bitter about it? Like many immigrant groups before them they are experiencing a cyclical influx. It would be wrong to not see a growth in Hollywood that was proportionate to their US population and it be as racist as not continuing to show black celebrities as that community grew. We should be happy that America has the ability to accept a couple like this and the two communities should embrace every opportunity to come together in the face of continued adversity. There still aren't enough roles in Hollywood for minoritites and it's people like Devron who stifle the industry from hiring actors that really do look like America's changing demographical face.

I'm sure you know this because you are obviously an intelligent person--but there were Mexicans here in the US before Texas, Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Colorado became states (they used to be part of Mexico).
