It just really bugs me how celebrities only care about health issues once they have them. Oh well :/

Uhhhh...maybe because she only made that Farrah Fawcett foundation after she got cancer? She did some stupid promo a long time ago warning people about cancer, but it was just something she was asked to do along with several other celebrities.

Just like that one shaky guy...can't remember his name. He only started caring about parkinsons after he developed the disease.

I just don't think that people should look up to celebrities saying "omg! they are doing so much to help people!" when in reality they only started truly helping and giving money after they got sick.

Also, if her real motive was to help people she would have put her money into that foundation rather than flying to Germany several times per year to get those wacky expensive treatments which obviously didn't work.

It is clear what her motives were, which is fine, obviously she didn't want to die, I just don't think we should be looking up to someone like that as some great hero against cancer.

RIP Farrah - you'll be missed.

Everyone knows Farrah from Charlie’s Angel. However, my favorite memories were watching her play dramatic roles. Farrah was brilliant as Marjorie in Extremities and Francine in The Burning Bed. She was one of the few actresses who had natural beauty and genuine comedic and dramatic talent. A cornsilk blond with a beautiful body - her smile was most radiant when she showed her peers and fans she was a woman of substance. Farrah was also an excellent tennis player. She attacked the net. She used the same determination to fight her painful battle with cancer. Now she is freed from the anguish. My sympathy to her family and friends.

This day, June 25, 2009, will be remembered in our history, as a day of profound loss. May Farrah and Michael both be allowed to rest in peace.

It was God's choice that she died. Maybe her work on earth is over. She's gone to another place of happiness.

Secondly, thank you to all you optimistic, generous folks for your positive comments. It is a shame that the rest of you have CHOSEN to look at the negative side of life with such enthusiasm. I'll bet you are much less happy than those who CHOSE not to trash someone they know almost nothing about.

Regardless of what she did for a living, she had a family and friends and will be missed. Lay off, you creeps. What if it were YOUR mother/sister/daughter/friend/girlfriend?

My heart goes out to you and Ms. Fawcett's family. I lost my Father to Cancer and it is a horrible thing. Just know that she loved you, it showed in her eye's when you were together and that is the most precious thing in life is to be loved. Take good care and know that she is with God and feels no pain now. She is happy and will wait for you. Take good care and God Bless.
