Of course he's going to be nice to fans and sign autographs when a camera is on him. Take away that camera and it's a different story. Clooney hates fans.

The last great movie star? Oh give me a break. He's a media whore... phony as they come. He uses his celebrity to sell products, doing commercial ads, for pete's sake. Like he needs the money, yet he sells his soul and breaks the covenant he should have with his audiences to be authentic on screen.

Wow -- some real Clooney haters here. One thing he has always been faithfully is good to his fans re signing autographs, etc. And he has put "his money where his mouth is" as far as charitable donations go. As for "aging", he only gets better...

Stars know if they don't sign autographs, it becomes public knowledge and their nice person image is shattered.

The REAL test of whether or not a star is good to his/her fans is in demonstrations of kindness to fans other than signing obligatory autographs.
