Gisele is NOT Latina. She was born in Brazil but is of German heritage. Latinas have Hispanic blood in them, i.e. Jennifer Lopez, Raquel Welch, George Lopez, and America Ferrera. Gisele is as much Latina as I am, and that's zilch.

Gisele's parents are from south of Brazil, a region notoriously inhabited by pure generations of german, polish, austrian and italian immigrants. They all make efforts to keep the traditions, language and culture from their original country, whether they're third, fourth generation born in Brazil. It doesn't mean they are in denial that the're officialy brazilians, but at the end of the day they all end up marrying with their equals. Therefore, the are all europeans, only born abroad (if an italian couple have their child in China it doesn't mean the kid will be chinese!)
