We caught Hilary and Haylie Duff leaving the stylist's together last night. It's always best to spend the holidays with your family - especially when you share a hairdresser!

We're not trying to judge Amy too harshly, everyone has a bad hair day! Luckily, hers is occurring on the set of the new Grey's Anatomy spinoff, Private Practice, in which Amy Brenneman currently co-stars.

Although we generally consider Teri Hatcher to be a fine-lookin' woman (some of us in the office have very fond memories of the infamous Lois Lane picture), we have to say that she looked like a startlingly hot mess when she went shopping with her daughter Emerson Rose yesterday. Then again, I guess she doesn't have to get fancy for her daughter - that's one heart she doesn't have to try to win!

They're sometimes scary, sometimes unrecognizable and sometimes gorgeous without it, but it never gets old to look at stars without makeup!

Lately we've been noticing an epidemic of bedhead among celebrity babes - heck, just this week we caught both Britney Spears and Paris Hilton in the middle of some seriously bad hair days! Lindsay Lohan might have mourning the death of Bobby (at the box office, anyway) yesterday at the Silver Spoon Golden Globes Buffet yesterday, but it sure flatters her! She even did a quick change later in the afternoon, while maintaining her monochromatic black. Check out her necklaces with charms (including a wishbone for good luck). With that, Bobby might just pull out a Globe or two!

Why, they're both multi-platinum recording artists, of course! (Courtney's, er, facial irregularity is rumored to stem from a recent round of plastic surgery - as far as we know, Britney just got caught off-guard that night!)

A) To take a shower.
B) To come up with a new catchphrase for his next film - "Whoa" is too played out.
C) To never ever change, we love him exactly the way he is!

Kim arrived at this gas station yesterday looking like...well, like she normally does. But she must have thought she was having a bad hair day, because according to the clerk, she pleaded with him for his 76 cap!

Anyone want to take a guess as to why Nicole Richie's makeup appears to stop halfway up her face? Could it be improper application? The effects of a night at a sweaty club? Or did she just quit halfway through the job?

Jessica was all smiles (it's hard to tell underneath all that ratty hair, but if you watch the video, you can definitely see it) as she entered this Beverly Hills salon that, according to their website, "specializes in curly hair"! Does this mean that Jessica is the one cheating on Ken?

We caught the usually well-coiffed Jessica Simpson on her way to her favorite spa (plastic surgery center?) yesterday in Beverly Hills. I guess one can forgive the messy hair - especially after we caught Ken cheating on her with Ashlee - no makeup and sloppy black sweats, but add the black UGGS into the mix and it becomes a fashion crime that's just unforgiveable!

It's nice to know that even if the Chateau Marmont takes their long-rumored steps to give Lindsay Lohan the boot, she doesn't need to worry about going homeless - lately, she might as well have had a bed at her hair salon! We've caught her popping into the Byron Salon again yesterday - guess those extensions must take a lot of maintenance!

The HAIR! I think Xtina needs to chill with the bleach -- or start going to Ken Paves (Jessica colors the hell out of her hair and it still looks soft and natural). Or, and I hate to say it, maybe extensions?

We ran into Mischa Barton and Cisco Adler yesterday, and their hair was looking strikingly similar - could they be sharing a stylist these days? They're certainly both skinny enough...

With Halloween just around the corner, we thought it might be fun to put together a retrospective of some of our favorite shots of stars at their scariest - without makeup! (And since some of them are damn near unrecognizable, we've put them next to more familiar images - if you're up to the challenge, try covering up the right side of the screen and guessing!)

Kirsten cooled off with a little Pinkberry Fro Yo on the way to her hairdresser's yesterday. Looks like KiKi's hair could really use a good shampooing! And don't get me started on the leggings, though at least they're not tights, and they do cover the crotch! For those of you who haven't tried it, Pinkberry is an highly overrated (but nonetheless addicting) yogurt shop where people have been known to wait outside in the hot Los Angeles sun for over an hour!
