I guess I'll jon in with my 2 cents. I a preschool teacher with 18 years experience. Kids should NOT have PACIFIERS OR BOTTLES after the age of 12 months, like one of the first posters said. I have one kid on my class who constantly has a "paci" in his mouth (I take it out when his mom leaves) and of all the 2-3 year olds in my class, he is the most babyfied, he can't say ANY words yet (wonder why?), and his fron teeth stick out at a 45 or greater degree angle. IT IS DISGUSTING, and not right. Children should learn to "self soothe" when they are BABIES.
