I guess I'll jon in with my 2 cents. I a preschool teacher with 18 years experience. Kids should NOT have PACIFIERS OR BOTTLES after the age of 12 months, like one of the first posters said. Kate Hudson's son is the same way. I have one kid on my class who constantly has a "paci" in his mouth (I take it out when his mom leaves) and of all the 2-3 year olds in my class, he is the most babyfied, he can't say ANY words yet (wonder why?), and his fron teeth stick out at a 45 or greater degree angle. IT IS DISGUSTING, and not right. Children should learn to "self soothe" when they are BABIES. I agree, this is a sign that parents don't want to deal with their child's discomfort, and whether you are a celeb or not DISCOMFORT IS PART OF LIFE.
