That's right, folks: the former Disney princess is going to be on Gossip Girl for a multi-episode arc this upcoming season, reports Michael Ausiello at Entertainment Weekly.

Hil will play Olivia Burke, a "movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience." Oh, and she'll be rooming with Vanessa. (Snooze!) Her debut episode should air on October 5th...

Wait a minute, does this mean she'll have a romance with Dan? And can she really pull off a dramatic role in a prime time soap? So many questions!

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie are one of those couples that just seem oh-so-boring.

I know that sounds like a diss, but in Hollywood, that's a huge compliment, because it means their relationship is probably rock solid!

Here's the cute couple spending father's day together in LA. Now, it's no secret that Hil doesn't have the best relationship with her own father, but does her incredibly stable relationship with Mike mean she's ready to make him a father soon?

Their kids would be so cute...and would probably have the biggest upper-arms on the playground!

We're all for getting fit and healthy, and while we think Hil does indeed look that, isn't there a way to work out without bulking up? Especially in the arm area?

After snapping a slightly bloated Hilary Duff on Friday, we were concerned that the actress had a Cinnabon addiction let herself go. However, after getting a glimpse of Hil and bf Mike Comrie arriving at a party in Malibu this past weekend, we were able to breathe a sigh of relief. Little miss Lizzie McGuire picked out a flattering, spring-y outfit, and even though she's making some constipated faces in some of these shots, she does look cute.

Well this is rather unfortunate. I wanted to blame it on a bad camera angle, or the fact that Hilary Duff's arm might have gotten smushed up against her side in this shot, but that just isn't the case. After looking at every single picture in the gallery, I'm sad to say that Hilary might be pumping a little too much iron....

I loves me some Hil Duff and I HATE to be judgmental - it's not my style! - but I have to ask: What on God's green earth is going on in these pictures???

The outfit isn't flattering, the glasses make her look homely and her hair, her lips... just no! Calling her a sexy librarian might even be a diss to all librarians!

Nobody's perfect - not even Cindy Crawford! And that's why when we decided to research which stars have the worst cellulite, we weren't all that surprised...

Hilary is in the upcoming flick "Stay Cool," so it's not like she's an unemployed starlet with zero upcoming projects listed on her IMDb page!

We snapped the actress with Chevy Chase at the Tribeca Film Festival for the "Stay Cool" afterparty at Tenjune in NYC, and in between striking poses on the red carpet concrete, she seemed to enjoy horsing around with her co-star.

One thing I love about Hilary Duff is that she seems so normal and down-to-earth. Even her pet is a normal-sized dog instead of one of those trendy purse pups!

Ok, I'm not so sure I love that she's kissing her dog on the mouth, but hey, I'm not Mike Comrie, so what do I care?

No, we're not referring to the state she must've been in when she put together that outfit, but photogs tell us Hilary was looking mighty happy when she left dinner with a friend last night in Toluca Lake!

"Hilary must have had a few drinks at dinner, because when she left the restaurant, she was stumbling all over her friend and running down the street! She was crazy!"

What drove Hil to act so crazy? Was she just celebrating the release of the trailer for her new film Greta (which looks a little Georgia Rule-ish)? Or was she drinking to forget the not-so-flattering comparison we made yesterday?

Former Disney superstar Hilary Duff hasn't been looking too good as of late. And there's that whole Faye Dunaway drama that happened. But these shots of her from earlier today - reading a script after leaving a meeting in Hollywood - look pretty damn cute!
