But Can Jake and Jim Actually Sing?!?
Jake Gyllenhaal and Jim Carrey are set to take the classic musical Damn Yankees to the big screen, according to Variety.
The musical, which originally opened on Broadway in 1955, tells the story of Joe Boyd, a married man who makes a deal with the devil to give up his soul in exchange for the chance to become a big league baseball star.
Carrey is set to play the devil and Jake will play the baseball-loving Joe. The guys behind the recent musical Hairspray are producing.
Look for Damn Yankees to hit theaters late next year.
