I'm confused by this video in general. I don't get how he is denying anyone a shot when he actually walks backwards to keep facing the people taking pictures.

And what are Jake and a bunch of old people doing popping out from behind bushes in order to mill around talking on the side of the street for a while, before wandering off in different directions?

??? Yeah, he didn't seem to notice (or be paying any attention to) the videocam. By walking backwards he actually kept his face toward the camera.

That assistant hasn't worked for Jake since last year, that photo at that link is from last April. And why would an ex-PA be hanging around Jake's house when he isn't even working, he issn't filming a movie or anything and why is he shielding her and telling her to go inside? He sure doesn't need a PA to do his errands that's for sure. The last two PA's for JAke were seen around the time he was doing PR for Zodiac and neither one of them was this chick, maybe he re-hired her to shoo away the paps from his property, snort.

But Jake isn't abroad anymore, he finished filming Rendition last month according to imdb, his behavior towards her, protective was odd, no need to shield a PA from the paps IMO. Jake isn't working on anything that would require him to re-hire a PA that he had while filming Zodiac, which she was. This was taken on his private property and the folks that own this site can't say that here because what they did was illegal and they know it. Just take a look a the comments, they don't even mention where they are filming and at least mention the blonde is not Reese, it looks like they want people to think it is. And anon 7:08am Beatrice, you are spending too much time trying to convince yourself and others that the petite blonde in the video is his PA which hasn't worked for Jake since last year, and if it is her, than the proefessional relationship has turned personal with her ex-boss maybe that's why he told her to go back in the house.

How do you know when and for what Jake needs / uses PA?

Most if not all actors hire PA's when they are filming a movie, doing PR, award shows or if they have kids, helping them to do chores, etc. As we know from the million and one pap pics of Jake, he doesn't need a PA to do errands for him, and the fact that Rendition wrapped last month why would he all of a sudden need to re-hire a PA that worked for him during Zodiac/shoot and '06 award season because that's what she was hired for. He had two totally different PA's when he was doing promo for Zodiac, the Bafta's and Rendition because they were pictured with him like this blonde chick was during '05/06. If he needed a PA why not use the one's he had just a few months ago? And if this is indeed the old PA, then why did she scurry away from the paps? There are litigation issues here and the fact that they say that the people that Jake are talking to aren't associated with Reese gives you a clue that it probably was, why even bring it up? Wouldn't it have been easier to just say the blonde chick isn't Reese? They can't because of legal reasons, so they just posted the video online anyway and have people make up their own minds.

I said to myself 'give me a break' seems the paps and the tabloids are so anxious to sell their rags they will pair Jake up with whoever happens to be available at the moment. Jennifer Aniston and him were at the GLAAD awards and they did a movie together, where are all the stories about them hooking up!

^^^ Exactly! There is no „litigation issue“ when they talk about Jake but it could be „litigation issue“ if they mention "you know who"!

This site has several videos of Jake jogging, biking, etc that appear to be around his home, I may be wrong. But this video looks a bit more intrusive but since there are other similar videos in this site of him and he hasn't said anything, then they probably have no problem posting this one, why they don't even mention the girl in the white hoodie and say, no she isn't who she think it is makes no sense unles they want people to think it is.

True, but sinc ehte girl is barely in the frame and she disappears then one would assume they asre talking about the group of people he is talking to, he isn't talking to her, just walks her out of the frame. The comments were made so that people can speculate.

I don't know but if they were her parents there is no interaction beteen them, then again the video seems jumpy at the end just before Jake starts talking to the older blonde with the clip board, something was edited out.

Her parents where shown on the Oprah show after Reese won the Oscar, and no, that's not them in this video.

The girl in the white hoodie is definitely Reece Witherspoon. She is the exact same size and I heard the whole video sound. I know her voice anywhere. What a joke when they asked her if she was an actress and she laughed and said no she was a buyer. You can also tell that Jake saw the photogs and intentially tried to veer Reece away from the cameras. It all looks that He is hiding her away from the media.!!! Its so obvious!
