I am a mother of 2 beautiful daughters. 1 who is in her early 20's has a successful career and just bought her first home. She is very respectful of others and has a good head on her shoulders. I treated them both the same way, disciplined the same way and loved them both the same way. My youngest had a baby at 16.
Long story short, a judge ordered me to have full custody and took away the father's rights. Thank God for that! A 16 year old girl is a child herself and has not yet gained the maternal instinct. I see that first hand. My daughter loves her child, but he is just a novelty to her. She is just not mature enough to be a mom as she doesn't know how to put him first.

People make mistakes...it happens. Young jamie Lynn decided to keep her baby and thats her dicision, and we should respect her privacy. However on the other hand all of the magazine articles showing "the happy parents to be" at such a young age could be giving off the wrong message to our children. Jamie Lynn is a celebrity...she's ver rich and most likely wont have to lose her teenage years due to the fact that she has $$ and most of the time will most likely never have to take care of her own baby...thanks to nannies. I think its bad to put on these magazines that there so happy and justify this pregnancy when so many young teenage girls out there look up to her...they may get the wrong idea about teen pregnancies.
