I don't like Federline at all and always thought Britney made a bad decision marrying him. However, I'm not Britney and she had her own reasons for doing so. Probably foremost was her need to be loved and to feel like she was establishing a normal life and home, from what I've read in her interviews in previous years. She got a bad deal.

And, she would have to pay a conservator, regardless of whether or not it was her dad. She's actually getting a deal, because if the conservator weren't her father the professional conservators charge considerably higher amounts than that (based on the value of the estate). Plus, I doubt they'd move in and babysit her ass 24/7, so they'd have to hire a bunch more people to do some of the other stuff Pa Spears is doing. After seeing the "mess" Britney was behind closed doors, I don't think anyone should question why Kevin, or anyone else, would have divorced her. He's no prince charming, but divorcing Britney and getting custody of his children makes him look like a genius. As far as Jamie Spears goes, after having lived with Lynn, and divorcing her, he probably understands Kevin's actions better than anyone. I never heard anything about Kevin physically abusing Britney, and, after hearing her mouth and seeing her in action, you have to wonder who was abusing who in that relationship. He was kind enough to divorce her...someone else might have killed her.
