UPDATE: Jason Wahler Ordered to Pay Truck Driver

Jason Wahler wahler200.jpg A civil court jury has found Jason Wahler used excessive force and harmed a tow truck driver in a September 2006 altercation.

On Thursday, the court ordered Wahler to pay $5,000 in damages.

The victim, Dario Stevenson filed a lawsuit against the reality TV star and his then-girlfriend, model Kristen DeLuca in August of 2007 for compensatory and punitive damages for the verbal and physical abuse he suffered. DeLuca previously settled with Stevenson, agreeing to pay him $3,000 for her role in the altercation.

Last week, Judge Elizabeth A. Grimes decided that jurors would be allowed to hear evidence from the arrest, which included details of the racist remarks Wahler allegedly made to Stevenson, as well as details regarding Wahler's behavior when police took him into custody.
