Superstar actors Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler were out in public together again — but this time there was no lovey-dovey stuff.

The two stars of the film "The Bounty" were spotted with a group of six people dining on the candlelit patio of Cliff's Edge restaurant in the trendy Los Angeles neighborhood Silver Lake.

While Aniston hugged everyone, the stars otherwise kept their hands to themselves, or at least off each other.

"It was not a romantic date, nor did they kiss. They didn't even sit next to each other," a source told Us Magazine.

Aniston, in jeans and a tank top, "was certainly not spending any special time on Gerard," said another source.

"Gerard kept the group entertained with stories and they all shared many laughs."

That's a stark contrast to when they were spotted earlier this month in Manhattan holding hands. Both denied there was a romance going on.

As for the Silver Lake adventure, the restaurant valet had nothing but praise for the non-couple.

"Both Jen and Gerard are great tippers," he said.
