Jennifer Garner is the woman Ben needs now in his life. He needs to have a family, and he got it. He needs to have a loving wife, and he got her. He needs his life to be so normal as possible, and he got it. I think they love each other very much, and are trying to live a quiet family life, like the rest of us. Ben has had too much media attention, so he is avoiding it as much as he can. And I tink he is learning to take it easy when the paps are around, ignoring them and trying to bee relaxed about it all. He is learning and he is changing. He has changed so much the last few years - he has matured.

This is what i meant. Libby, you expressed what I think, in a better way. I agree with you. Jen is just doing normal things with her baby girl and doesn't rely on baby sitters all the time like other celeb mums do.
I won't comment on the Jen and Ben relationship since I don't know them, but he does go with them sometimes, again like most fathers do. Ben is probably doing other things, it doesn't mean he is not into the relationship and doesn't love Violet. Some of you write as if you know him, but remember that you DON'T.

Mrs. Affleck is becoming over-exposed. She may hate the paps but as long as she keeps smiling for them (which tells me she's liking it) they'll stay right with her. Reese W. hates them too but is not a hypocrite and lets it be known and shown.

Ben is, slowly, learning not to mind the paparazzi. Though he still looks a little annoyed, he has looked much more relaxed on the latest pics. It must be hard to look indifferent when your pulse is 150 or more. But I think it is the best thing to do, or avoid the paparazzi completely, but then I would miss that little family so.

The only reason he isn't as annoyed in the last set of pics is because they were taken on Mother's Day weekend and since it was almost a certainty at least one would in People Magazine, he acted like the doting husband and father. And, yes, there was half a page contributed to one of those pics just as I suspected. As usual, Mrs. Affleck had the usual smiley face and was clinging to her beloved.

Just a mention on my take of the Garner relationships. Any person who continually visits a therapist as she has done since the marriage to Foley has a definite problem in maintaining a relationship hence the mention regarding her proposed new "mommy" show on how to keep a marriage together after having children. She couldn't keep a marriage together without children so it's rather obvious there are issues on how she interacts with her mate.

One thing about celebrities, once they get a taste of fame, it's like an addiction and they can't turn it loose nor do they want to lose the earnings they reap from that fame. Wealthy people tend to never have enough. In the case of the Affleck's, they certainly are dependant of the public's opinion if they want good press when selling their product.

Ben Affleck desperately needed an image make-over because so many women, his fan base, were upset with him for dating and almost marrying J.Lo who they didn't approve of. Jennifer Garner, and being a family man has greatly improved his image with the public. He was no where near interested in Jennifer Garner until after he got all that flack for dating J.Lo. That's not so say the Affleck-Garner relationship is fake, but that is to say they play up certain angles of their relationship to play to their public. Specifically a public that is apparently comprised of minivan majority types who like to see this couple as similar to their own unions and family life. Garner has no talent as a movie actress and is using this angle to continue her fame, hence her new TV show idea. Again, no wonder there have been so many pics of her parading her daughter around. It's called branding and she's using the paparrazi to help her do it.

There's never been a doubt in my mind that Garner jumped at the chance to snag him when he was at his lowest and I'm quite sure Ken Sunshine advised him to let the relationship happen. I agree that the relationship today is not fake but I tend to think it is lopsided to a degree and that's why Garner continues her therapy. She wants desperately for the marriage to work. And when you brought up "branding", you nailed it. If people can't see what she's doing, they're blind.
